I've always meant to watch more bad kung-fu movies... but I can't help you here.

Why the movie threads all of a sudden? We just need an über-colossal, gi-normous cinematographic smackdown of a super-thread!

Huzzah South Park!

And I'll cast a vote for Waking Life, since it's technically animated... though South Park beats it in the non-philosophical realm of movies.

Come to think of it, I recently caught something like the second half of Miyazaki's Spirited Away, and I was pleasantly surprised by how good it was. Given the general quality of anime that seems to reach the U.S. market, I was a bit leery about it.

Thus the advantage of the former. If you never get within range, killing them isn't a problem.

Of course, there's always Haste, good luck, and Divine Restoration... the only way in the game to cure frozen PCs, correct?

Welcome to Spiderweb! Leave your sanity at the door! After all-

quote:
One reason homo marriage is bad and wrong. IS that it destroys normal marriages and makes children insecure. It has been proven that for a child to grow up healthy they nead a mother and father.
-Okay, it appears that you've already left your sanity at the door. Cite your sources, good sir. Without any sort of proof on your part, this just comes across as unfounded paranoia.

quote:
Second it would destroy us economicaly. Think about it 2 million more people married with all the benefits. Plus if homo are allowed to marry that 2 million will grow exponetionally as more people thinks its okay resulting more marriages and more strain on economics. ( I'm not a good speller sorry)
Okay, any world economy has bigger problems than keeping up with marriage benefits. Think of all the legal costs that get fed into the economy from divorce cases... that should support the cause of allowing gay marriage benefits. Then there'd inevitably be more divorce cases, more legal fees, and a stronger economy. And think of what it would do for the wedding industry...

Your argument's falling flat so far...

quote:
Third divorce rates would sky rocket resulting in mass confusion as whos married to who?
You're kidding. Please tell me you're kidding. Divorce rates are so high already (at least in the U.S.) that gay divorces would be a single drop in the bucket. As for the second point... whatever induced that logic is probably prohibited by law in most countries.

quote:
Fourth things like sex with animal would come up sooner or later which people should know results in diseases.
This already happens. Allowing gay marriage would not affect this. Sure, people might end up being more vocal about the stuff they already did, but seeing same-sex couples get married certainly isn't going to make anybody swoon for a penguin anytime soon.

You sir, are a loon.

If a month of McDonalds will almost kill a man... a month of those things and there won't be enough left of him to attribute the film to. His heart would explode.

It's pretty much at the northwest corner of the Formello moat. You need to go upstairs to find Atria.

That movie is sickening. On so many levels...

But the thing to remember is that it's mostly for shock'n'awe value. Simple common sense should tell you that you can't eat all that and not get burned somehow.

EDIT: Okay, it's a Geneforge person... no wonder I didn't know them.

EDIT2: Does the idea of rebates for food scare anybody else? (referring to the below post)

Well, Ed entered the boards as Commander Edward, then changing to E.D.F. (with a ridiculously-annoying gimmick to follow), then changing to simply '&'. I almost lumped those titles in with arghhhhhhhhh's...

But anyway, there was no indication that Ed was female. Ever. Not in public, anyway.

And Aran, I disagree on your second point... it's really a gift of that age group in general. But I will say that most guys I know would've taken the hint earlier... or stormed out angrily without coming back.

First off, Athron's a 'she'.

Second, there are just a bunch of secret passages in the walls (use Far Sight). Be prepared to fight a lot of very unpleasant things to get to her.

I fear that I must respectfully disagree... at least in terms of A3's addictive nature. The plagues get tiring, and it's way too easy to get discouraged. That, and finding out that the vahnatai did it was a real downer... it all works out too neatly. The only thing close to a loose end was Rentar's escape, and then you know from the start that she's coming back.

As for your comment regarding Rentar, I agree. Except that in my game, she lived.

Come to think of it, I just cracked open Black & White again today, and all I can say is that Lionhead deserves a ton of credit for the work they did on that game. Granted, I still think Maxis deserves more credit for overall consistency (since after all, who ever played Black & White 2?).

Yes, the item curve is way too steep in this game... by the end, every single item worn by all of my PCs was insanely magical. This never happened in the other four Avernums.

(Well, to some degree in BoA... but I blame that on unbalanced item design by pretty much all of us.)

No, it's more about that horrible bug which will leave Almaria hostile to you forever.

I was surprised by the box encounter the first time through. By surprised, I mean in a "Wow, that was easy" sense. My archer got combat priority, fired at one orb, and they everything went up in flames. The rest of my party just kind of stood there asking "What was the point of that?"
