So I took the time to haste and sneak back out, slightly uneasy about the fact that nothing was attacking me. I believe the person you're looking for is one of the actual miners. Look in the mine, and you should find someone named Santo. Spore... it should be quite interesting, should it ever actually be finished. (As for innovative, I always liked Black & White, even though it techinically built off of... whatever that other god-sim game was called. B&W2, from what I heard, was a flop.) -------------------- Gamble with Gaea, and she eats your dice. I hate undead. I really, really, really, really hate undead. With a passion. Sandwich? Salami on wheat, cheese optional. Lettuce is a must, and hot sauce is always good. Vacation spot? Preferably somewhere far away from everything. Middle of nowhere camping/backpacking is always fun. Position? Sleeping... which is rare right now. Hobby? Not being overwhelmed by schoolwork. Sport? American Baseball, National League. Designated hitters are downright un-American. -------------------- Gamble with Gaea, and she eats your dice. I hate undead. I really, really, really, really hate undead. With a passion. About time. It was one thing when there was a single topic focused on strange conversations with iGod, but the pseudo-divine wisdom of an ineffectual box of bolts just won't fly in most topics. Besides, most of these conversations have an ungodly high ratio of junk to jokes. I freaked out a little when I saw the topic title, particularly when I saw it was a topic by Alo... particularly given the talk of the forums' possible actual demise. EDIT: Kill the topics! Bring us their heads!!! [ Wednesday, March 08, 2006 12:01: Message edited by: Ephesos ] -------------------- Gamble with Gaea, and she eats your dice. I hate undead. quote:I dispute the first two claims. I think the Shockwave Bow and Heartstriker are far better than the Bow of Decay, and that other spells serve much more extended purposes than Acid Spray... Daze, for one. Also, while the Jade Halberd is probably the best spear, the swords offer a far more balanced variety. I personally found the Frozen Blade's cursing to be very useful, as well as Demonslayer's plethora of defensive bonuses. And the Radiant Soulblade... heck, even the Ghostly Blade has enough ungodly defensive bonuses (+6% hostile resistance?!) to outshine the middle-of-the-road Oozing Blade. -------------------- Thuryl: "Runescape: for people who are too stupid to save their games." Yes it does. Not only do you get to enact some vengeance for the beast's participation in the sacking of Cotra, but you also help out the mayor by taking a dangerous prisoner off Cotra's hands. And your interrogation prevents others from being tempted, tricked and killed by the beast. It's a win/win/win, really. Everybody wins, except for the eyebeast. -------------------- Thuryl: "Runescape: for people who are too stupid to save their games." Gamble with Gaea, and she eats your dice. quote:Ah, there's a trick to this... you question it, then tell the mayor that you didn't learn anything. Then you go kill the eyebeast, and the mayor doesn't care. You don't even get the option to tell the mayor that you killed it. -------------------- Thuryl: "Runescape: for people who are too stupid to save their games." Yeah, I never understood that. Demons should be much more vulnerable than they are in A4... but that's just my impression. And it's not like you see more than maybe twenty of them in the entire game. -------------------- Thuryl: "Runescape: for people who are too stupid to save their games." At least Spidweb games typically don't need frequent patches to re-balance, re-work, or just simply fix games. Tons of games (MMOs in particular) have this syndrome now, and it's good to see games that don't need to be re-patched every other week. On an unrelated note... finally, proof! Alo double-posted! (He's going to delete it and make this post look stupid, I'm sure of it) EDIT: Yep, I knew he would. And now you all think I'm crazy, don't you? Well I'm not! Alo's inflating his post count!
