Personally, I plan to die penniless, unloved, jobless, and alone. Much easier to accept it, that way. Maxmillion, do you possess a ferret, or an attractive sister? If not, you have very little to offer me, and I'll gladly leave the spoils to the others. -------------------- Stughalf "Delusion arises from anger. The mind is bewildered by delusion. He's under a permanent ban. As soon as Drakey sees that he has registered a new account, it will be banned like all of the others. Indeed I have, for the most part. Unfortunately, I'm in the midst of final exams at the moment and must write a sizeable essay by tonight. As soon as I've got a spare moment, which will likely be around tomorrow afternoon, I'll post my first argument. -------------------- Stughalf "Delusion arises from anger. I'd like to purchase my favorite albums, but as I have no job and no independent income it isn't awfully feasible to spend large sums of money for things I can procure for free. -------------------- Stughalf "Delusion arises from anger. Actually, I think PoD is right on that count. If I absolutely had to listen to any popular nineties band, it would be Soundgarden. Chris Cornell could actually sing, and well, unlike Cobain or Vedder. Black Hole Sun might be my favorite song out of the nineties, and although that's not saying much, it's still a fine song. -------------------- Stughalf "Delusion arises from anger. The largest flaw in this poll is the absence of any time-based classifications. There really ought to be classic and modern options for at least the pop and rock categories, as both genres have undergone massive changes over the last forty years or so. I voted for pop, even though I absolutely despise most modern examples of the genre. The same goes for modern rock. In fact, I generally avoid anything recorded after around '79. Most everything from the eighties is egregiously horrible, and I find the music of the nineties and beyond to be deadly dull as a rule. I am a huge classic pop/rock devotee, with emphasis on the pop. Favorite bands/artists include the Beatles, most Beatles solo work, the Beach Boys, Buffalo Springfield, the Byrds, Chicago, Cream, Crosby Stills Nash and Young, the Hollies, the Kinks, Simon & Garfunkel, Steely Dan, Traffic, and the Zombies. I also enjoy quite a bit of sixties and seventies progressive rock, especially Gentle Giant, Genesis, Procol Harum, and Yes. Perhaps I'm just overly susceptible to juvenile sexual humor, but for some reason I actually find the first post in the thread, as well as the thread title itself, rather funny. -------------------- Stughalf "Delusion arises from anger. When I sprained my wrist last weekend, I saw a doctor as soon as possible and got x-rays taken to determine the nature of the injury. As Thuryl mentioned, there's not much to lose in getting it x-rayed, so you might as well do so. -------------------- Stughalf "Delusion arises from anger. The mind is bewildered by delusion. Patience, chap, patience. As I mentioned recently, I just need a few more days of healing until I can manage this debate. Until then, others are welcome to discuss it in any manner they wish. -------------------- Stughalf "Delusion arises from anger. The mind is bewildered by delusion. Ack. Just as I post regarding to the pointlessness of this sort of debate in the "Small Question" thread, I find this thread. Really, let's not get into all this nonsense. It's all largely a matter of personal preference and what one is accustomed to, and as such the debate is rather pointless. I'm a Mac user, and although I prefer my computer to those of my PC-using friends, I don't pretend it's inherently better in any objective category. -------------------- Stughalf "Delusion arises from anger. It troubles me greatly that furries insist on calling their lurid perversion of the reincarnation concept by the same name as the sensible version subscribed to by millions of Hindus.
