ok, im trying to setup an IMAP server on my Windows Box, or atleast a mailfowarding thing, but havign it use my DNS associated with this computer. so, im looking for a program and mabey a guide on hot to setup a POP# or an IMAP server. i tried hermes pop server, and got no success.

Really, let's not get into all this nonsense. It's all largely a matter of personal preference and what one is accustomed to, and as such the debate is rather pointless. I'm a Mac user, and although I prefer my computer to those of my PC-using friends, I don't pretend it's inherently better in any objective category.

i have a Mac, its just running Mac OS 8.5, nad im getting a DVD drive for it soon to pgrade to OS 10.4

and ef, Thunderbird is not a mail fowarding program...

have a progrma send mail to adress one [ eaxmple sylak@65-37-11-232.nrp2.roc.ny.frontiernet.net] to adress two [example lordsylak@gmail.com] where the programs creats adress one, and fowards it to adress two.
