There are many things that are just plain wrong in the documentation too along with a handful of stuff that doesn't work as advertised. There's been a few lists made in the designers forum. It may help you to look there too.

Try this.

There are three pictures of it.

Very nice oragami btw. I used to be into oragami, more then I was ever into knitting. I still like to make 'my' piano once in a while...

IMAGE(http://www.geocities.com/jewelsoftheforest/piano.jpg)

Nothing original about it and very simple to make. That and boxes(which require scissors so I'm not sure if it's true oragami) are all I make now-a-days.

I would like an art contest as long as it doesn't have to be Spiderweb related. I just dug out some of my old artwork from highschool today. I really liked to draw roses.

PS. I don't think that thingie looks like TM at all. Everyone knows that TM is much more hairy. :P

*slaps forehead once again*

All delivery men are most definately not bums, nobodys, or insignificant-beneath-us miscreants. More likely they are the hard working middle class who have two/three jobs to keep food on the table for their growing family. If you think that anyone has noone to care about them, then you should be first in line to start caring. Stop worring about your post count and start worring about the stuff you're actually saying.

Skydiving, wind surfing, these I've heard of but bungee jumping with your cord attached to a plane?!? It sounds like suicide to me.

Have you really played every scenario made for BoE/BoA, Toast? Or you could make your own scenario... The computer is an endless sea of options for wasting your time.

Try your hand at a couple different hobbies. Photography with or without album making, model cars/airplanes/boats, model racing cars, going to real car races, there are many types of 'stitching', drawing, painting, story writing. And this is just a list of what I've done. Google 'hobbie' and try what looks best. Look for a creative outlet and make a couple Christmas presents in the meantime.

I'm pretty sure that if you want to have a database hosted, you're gonna have to pay for it. The cheapest place I ever saw was godaddy.com.

No gruesome injuries to report, though I do have a nasty ~foot long scar over my right hip and upper thigh from a childhood surgery. It's about 1/2 inch wide on the thigh now, I call it my caterpillar.

My only other serious injury was dislocating my right knee-cap. I was in a full leg cast for six weeks and rehabilitation for months afterward.

I've knitted a few times, but I took more to cross-stitching, which I haven't touched since getting involved in the community. I'm not good at multi-tasking, one hobby at a time is all I can handle.

Welcome to Spiderweb and please do get us some pictures of your knitting.

Well then, since the rest of average America gets an automatic 104 days off of work every year (unless you choose to be a workaholic), then taking 250 days off in four years doesn't seem like that much. He's actually working more then the rest of us even if it is less then the recent Democrats. (Which is why we keep paying him after his term is over, right? :P )

I think the statistics for all the Presidents would be very interesting. Something I'll have to google when I'm not so busy. Why am I even posting? I think I'm procrastinating...

I wonder how many of those 'part days' were actually more work then play? It's not that hard to put in a full day's work then catch a plane when you're done, or catch an early plane to be back in time to start work at noon then stay late to catch up. Plus they only count the days he spends at the ranch or en route, how many of those days were on the weekend (Saturday, Sunday)? Maybe he just likes to go home for the weekend, not that he's ever off duty, but regular weekends should be at least seperated in the count. I'd also like to see how many weekends various presidents put in full days of work. Gotta have all the stats in order to be unbiased.

Any idiot can lie. Only the smart ones can get away with it.

Well, he 'decieved' enough of us to go to war in the first place, I think because he sincerely believed that Sadam had WMD's. The Clinton administration believed that Sadam had WMD's they just didn't do anything about it. You want to argue that the lie began in Bush Sr.'s term I won't refute it. I was too young to pay attention or care about politics at the time, but it wasn't Jr.'s idea and I hold that he believed it to be true just as Clinton did.

A few quotes from before Jr. was ever President. (The last was just a few days after the election but I don't remember if Jr. was official yet because of the recounts. I don't think he was.)
quote:
"One way or the other, we are determined to deny Iraq the capacity to develop weapons of mass destruction and the missiles to deliver them. That is our bottom line." - President Bill Clinton, February 4, 1998

"If Saddam rejects peace and we have to use force, our purpose is clear. We want to seriously diminish the threat posed by Iraq's weapons of mass destruction program." - President Bill Clinton, February 17, 1998

"We must stop Saddam from ever again jeopardizing the stability and security of his neighbors with weapons of mass destruction." - Madeline Albright, February 1, 1998

"He will use those weapons of mass destruction again, as he has ten times since 1983." - Sandy Berger, Clinton National Security Adviser, February 18, 1998

"[W]e urge you, after consulting with Congress, and consistent with the U.S. Constitution and laws, to take necessary actions (including, if appropriate, air and missile strikes on suspect Iraqi sites) to respond effectively to the threat posed by Iraq's refusal to end its weapons of mass destruction programs." Letter to President Clinton. - (D) Senators Carl Levin, Tom Daschle, John Kerry, others, October 9, 1998

"Saddam Hussein has been engaged in the development of weapons of mass destruction technology which is a threat to countries in the region and he has made a mockery of the weapons inspection process." - Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D, CA), December 16, 1998

"Hussein has ... chosen to spend his money on building weapons of mass destruction and palaces for his cronies." - Madeline Albright, Clinton’s Secretary of State, November 10, 1999

Thoughts?

I swear, I'd never get any news if I didn't read the boards. I think Bush should talk to her, after his vacation. (Five weeks? That's a very long vacation... is that normal for a President?) They should schedlue an appointment with her for when he's available and at the office. It would have been better (for his image) if he gave her time right away, but I know how frustrating it can be when people start asking you to do things for work when you're supposed to be on vacation. Allow too much and it can feel like you didn't have any vacation at all.

See, this is what happens when you speed read through a very deep and thoughtful discussion trying to cram it all in, in the shortest amount of time possible.

The reason I found it funny was because I skimmed too fast to comprehend it's real meaning. I thought you were telling Ben his comments smacked of groupthink and incompetence when in fact his views stand out as odd to the majority of this board. (I confess, even I find him odd at times) So I appologise for my hasty reply and complete ignorance. I'm a bit distracted these days...

I am a bit surprised, though, to find that so many now credit W. with enough smarts to pull off decieving the entire nation and (so far) getting away with it when just before the elections he was the dumbest country bumpkin that ever stepped foot into the big city. But I guess when 'the truth' must be found, every angle must be played. And when I say 'the truth' I mean 'anything that will hurt the Bush administration and hopefully get him kicked out of office'. The ABB is alive and well.

When this topic started I made a point not to even look at it, knowing exactly what I'd find when I opened it anyway. After eight pages I finally caved but I couldn't make it past the third page so I will answer the topic question which is already widely known.

1. I like the president. We have the same opinion on the things I find most important. I sometimes wish he was a better speaker, but I guess not all can be charaismatic.

2. I support the war in Iraq, though I am very dissapointed at how it was carried out. The lack of planning sickens me. There were no WMD's, and there were many lies told about them, but anyone who states 'Bush lied' must also add 'Bush was lied to' if they want to do anything close to representing the truth themselves. Bush, made his decisions and speeches on lies that he believed to be true.

Oh and this statement:
quote:
