Ask not what your title can do for you. Ask what you can do for your title. I believe Drakey treats titles collectively as a very complex koan. Ponder and be enlightened. —Alorael, who would very much like to know what he can do for his title. This is inhumane! Posts: 14579 | Registered: Saturday, December 1 2001 08:00 |

If you ask for a custom title, you'll never get it (unless you're SMoE). Thus, I cannot ask for any title I want. —Alorael, who would be happier without Canned or Banned, both of which are technically custom titles. Posts: 14579 | Registered: Saturday, December 1 2001 08:00 |

This is Spiderweb! We're not just a bunch of people with off-color senses of humor. We have serious thoughts, and... and... Probably. —Alorael, who is much comforted to know that the tie is in fact between spam and tentacle rape. He should have seen that evil link anyway. No other person ever reached Your Postliness. No other person ever reached Frolicking in Postland or Postmaster General without getting a custom title, either. 300-400 is a lot compared to most post counts. We are just freakishly blabbersome. —Alorael, whose rate of posting has slowed down. It's all relative. Posts: 14579 | Registered: Saturday, December 1 2001 08:00 |

No. Only the slime and roach plagues can even be begun in the demo. —Alorael, who was under the impression that Dispel Barrier was a reward for being diplomatic (sort of) with Vothkaro, not for using the Ritual of Sanctification on the altar. The dragon scales and Erika's rune are both misleading clues. Jeff put them there so you wouldn't figure out who made the plagues too easily. Rentar-Ihrno put them there for much the same reasons. —Alorael, who is sure it wouldn't be too hard to either find old dragon scales or create fake ones. What good is a personal rune if anyone can counterfeit it, though? Posts: 14579 | Registered: Saturday, December 1 2001 08:00 |

No, Kel doesn't have a custom title. He also still has quite a ways to go to become Your Postliness. 7500 is a lot even for we spammy types. —Alorael, who preferred being Postmaster General. It had style, pizazz, and a lack of pronoun confusion. Posts: 14579 | Registered: Saturday, December 1 2001 08:00 |

In my opinion, landmark posts are on a curve, not a line. My next one will be at 10000. 200 isn't round like 100, but yeah, it works. 300 would be pushing it. —Alorael, who considers himself eminently suited to making arbitrary rulings on the morality of posting. Most of that time was spent with the tried and true name of Alorael. You can remember that, I hope! —Alorael, who thinks he'll have to switch back sometime. He's still waiting for his title, but a landmark of names would be good too. Posts: 14579 | Registered: Saturday, December 1 2001 08:00 |

You can get everything with the editor, so that's not much of a reason to avoid any non-critical areas. I think there is a pair of Micah's Gloves in there as well, but that's not much better. —Alorael, who can't recall any wondrous treasure from the crypt. It's mainly annoyance with the odd entertaining quickghast. Posts: 14579 | Registered: Saturday, December 1 2001 08:00 |

And another nitpick, this one an extreme pet peeve: you should call me Alorael, not Aloreal. Alo will suffice for shorthand. Or even "That guy who keeps posting with the signature at the end. Yeah, the one whose name changes all the time. With the rifle and the skribbane? Y'know?" —Alorael, who actually advises against identifying him with a several sentence description. That's a lot of wasted text. One of those sentences should suffice. Be was keeping a list at one point. I don't know if he still is or if he has all the intervening names on it, but still, he has a significant advantage. Don't get any ideas, anyone! —Alorael, who apologizes rather insincerely and unconvincingly for the horrible abuse of this topic. Posts: 14579 | Registered: Saturday, December 1 2001 08:00 |

Vahnavoi are undead vahnatai who don't have any magical abilities. The undead spellcasters are hraithe, or maybe hraithes. I can't recall the proper pluralization. —Alorael, who would call them liches if they weren't much more common and much less powerful than ordinary liches. They're closer to souped-up spirits, except they're more fleshy. Posts: 14579 | Registered: Saturday, December 1 2001 08:00 |

Aachenaran? Sounds like a descendent of Akhenaten, and that's another link to Cairo! Another conspiracy! Where's Room 3? —Alorael, who never treats PDNs as serious information for any purpose. General now has Miscellaneous material, but it was somewhat underused before Misc. was excised. Misc. contained posts that were unmitigated spam, and General isn't suffering so much from the same problem. Although Misc. is now surrounded by a hazy glow of nostalgia, General really has all the best (discussions, roleplaying, and less than civil debates) without the worst (pointless polls, pure spam, and more pure spam). —Alorael, who misses knowing he should have voted for Alcritas.
