Okay, well... I defeated the Alien Slime and the Cockroaches. I went to the Tower of Magi and got new spells along with some uh... stuff. I just wanted to know where is the next quest (Any major one) that has nothing to do with registering it. Also, what about the murders in New Formello??? And finally, where is Dispel Barrier? If you can answer at least one of them I will truly apperciate it. :)

I wonder how the people can live in some games without using the bathroom commonly or drink any water? They don't change their clothes much, even if they get wounded... Life is a mystery...

I don't remember Exile III, but I've played Avernum 3 some month ago...Hope it's the same.

Dispel Barrier is your reward for the Troglo Castle mission, in (Sharimik) so, not in the demo...

In Avernum 3, about the murders, you have to speak with Aneximander (spelling ?), so, your boss in Upper Avernum, and then, speak with the agent send in the New Formello's Inn.

But I think I've read something like there wasn't Aneximander in Exile III, so...Try the inn.

Anaximander is in E3 and so is Flanagan, the agent.

—Alorael, who also thinks that Dispel Barrier is the troglo quest reward.

Also, there are no other major quests in the unregistered version. There's minor quests like the New Formello murders, the bandit/goblin/wolf lair, the unicorn lair, and the Spiral Crypt, however. There may be others too, I don't remember.

Don't you get Dispel Barrier once you destroy the two Troglodoyte evil altars?

I think you have to register to get as far north as Sharimik, and the Troglos are further north.
But the tiny registration fee is well worth the years you'll spend playing on it.
I've been playing Exile since it was first released, and it doesn't work on the computer in my flat so I haven't played for about a year. I still miss it!!!

No. Only the slime and roach plagues can even be begun in the demo.

—Alorael, who was under the impression that Dispel Barrier was a reward for being diplomatic (sort of) with Vothkaro, not for using the Ritual of Sanctification on the altar.

In theory you can e-mail Jeff about it (his e-mail's on www.spidweb.com), but he's not likely to do anything about it.

Try that selfextracting file SkeleTony is offering. If that also doesn't work, consider changing to Win 2000. It's still the best OS Microsoft ever created and keeps you out of all this trouble.

SkeleTony talks about it in the link I gave you above. He'll probably mail it to you, if you PM him.
