This is just something I've always wanted to do. I was in the Navy for 5 years and never had the time to invest in it. Now that I'm out, I want to do this. I know it's not gonna be that successful, but I'm doing it for me. It just started so it's not much right now, but I will try to add things as time goes. :D

Yeah, I'm in the works to remove those. I will pay for the forum once my money gets cleared into Paypal. Hopefully that will get rid of the ads. :D

1. Which series do you think is better? the Geneforge series or Avernum series? Avernum

2. Which series do you think has a brighter future (i.e. more games, more popularity, etc.)? I believe Avernum would have more longevity but they both would be about equal on popularity.

3. How long have you been playing Spiderweb games? Since 1998.

4. Do you play Avernum and Geneforge on Mac or PC? PC. :D

Why even put the demos out on a CD? Just advertise the game and the link to this site. People will see how we talk about the games and wonder what the fuss is about. They will download the demo and if they like it, buy the game. I know it's a bit more complicated than that but this is simplified. :D

The problem I'm having is that all of the files for the game were not downloaded from the Blades of Avernum. Has any one else had this problem with any game!

I have downloaded via internet using the link at the top of the Blades of Avernum page. :cool:

I first saw Exile 1: Escape From the Pit on a Galaxy of Games disk in 1998. I played the demo for hrs. I didn't even buy the game until a few months later when I had some extra money. My favorite game is Exile 3: Ruined World. I believe the real reason we play the old games again is that while playing them, we get a sense of nostalgia. :cool:
