It's always talk about if Erika is essential, WHAT ABOUT ME!!! Am I not the one who in A1 told about how to kill the Adze-Haakai and the Daemonslayer. The Daemonslayer was essential in killing Grah-Hoth. Also am I not the one who gave the most vital clue to killing Garzahd (ok so Thompson knew the location, who cares). And in A3, I gave the Expedition Party vital spells to help them out. That's all I was allowed to do (Beaurocratic officals and all). I am the greatest Archmage of all time. Oh and about Erika's Tower in A2, reseting seems to be the only way out of that jam. I do it all the time just to get all the enemies back. ;) [ Monday, April 04, 2005 15:35: Message edited by: Solberg the All-Powerful ] -------------------- My name's Solberg. There are 3 people I know of from Avernum on the surface; Dwaine in Lorelei, Sandra (eitherin Sharimik or Lorelei), and someone in Porter's Retreat, who weren't in the first group. -------------------- My name's Solberg. If I may say so myself, I think that I am very vital to the World of Exile/Avernum. I sell powerful spells, give out vital info, and make a wicked killer Toadstool creme pie ;) . I am the greatest Archmage alive! -------------------- My name's Solberg. Pronounced Sol-Berg. Exile/Avernum's Greatest LIVING Archmage! I'm sure you've heard of me at some point. The one who gives you the info is located on what is supposed to be a volcano in the caves west of the Tower of the Magi and south of the Honeycomb. This is probably the on that you found. Hope this helps. -------------------- My name's Solberg. Pronounced Sol-Berg. Exile/Avernum's Greatest LIVING Archmage! I'm sure you've heard of me at some point. I don't know why that happened but the only person who would tell you anything inportant is the bartender. He only tells you to press the button on his desk in the room to the west. At least I think it's his desk, it's been a while. I hope that this helps. -------------------- My name's Solberg. Pronounced Sol-Berg. Exile/Avernum's Greatest LIVING Archmage! Just come to my tower, I try to help you out with any questions you have. I can tell you about the Demonslayer, the Adze-Haakai in the Tower of the Magi, and about the First Expedition. I know more, but these are better ones. So in other words, just come on by. -------------------- My name's Solberg. Pronounced Sol-Berg. Exile/Avernum's Greatest LIVING Archmage! I have no problems with reviving old posts. I've seen people ask the same questions over and over. Might as well keep the ones we got and stick to 'em. About the noob, how can you call someone else a noob when you only have 6 more posts than they do. Just a question! [ Saturday, December 18, 2004 16:54: Message edited by: Solberg the All-Powerful ] -------------------- My name's Solberg. Pronounced Sol-Berg. Kelandon- I'm sorry I didn't see the A-3 reference. :o If I remember right (it's been a while) E-1 does have the ability, not the option, to bring up the stats. It's not in the options menu, you have to type some sequence of buttons, but I'm not sure but I'll look into it. -------------------- My name's Solberg. Pronounced Sol-Berg. A nephil would have 1 or 2 points more in dexterity and missle weapons. A slith would have the same for pole weapons. That is unless you have a custom character. -------------------- My name's Solberg. Pronounced Sol-Berg. Exile/Avernum's Greatest LIVING Archmage! I'm sure you've heard of me at some point. I happen to like E1/A1's plot the most. You have to understand that these two games were the starting point and that they had to build an entire history and some clues to the future into the plot. You meet a Vahnatai for the first time in one of the caves, and also meet Garzahd when you look into the orb at the Goblin Cave. He even says that there will be war soon. E1/A1 had alot to build on and I think that they did it very well. In conclusion, E1/A1 have my vote on the better plot. -------------------- My name's Solberg. Pronounced Sol-Berg.
