Yeah, I'm in the works to remove those. I will pay for the forum once my money gets cleared into Paypal. Hopefully that will get rid of the ads. :D -EDIT- And be sure to post in the poll. Let me know what you think. [ Monday, January 01, 2007 13:00: Message edited by: Arch-Mage Solberg ] -------------------- My name's Solberg. Pronounced Sol-Berg. With the notable exceptions of Polaris and Desperance, which are both half-dead at this point anyway, Spiderweb satellite boards do not last. This one appears not even to have a purpose, so I predict that it will die before it even begins. -------------------- "It's sort of like Star Wars. Lady J and I had a pretty successful satellite board. Then she disappeared and stopped buying me webspace. :( Posts: 455 | Registered: Tuesday, May 17 2005 07:00 |

This is just something I've always wanted to do. I was in the Navy for 5 years and never had the time to invest in it. Now that I'm out, I want to do this. I know it's not gonna be that successful, but I'm doing it for me. It just started so it's not much right now, but I will try to add things as time goes. :D -------------------- My name's Solberg. So... the point of the board is to discuss Spiderweb Software games? Oh, good, I've been meaning to do that. -------------------- quote: Posts: 1115 | Registered: Sunday, May 15 2005 07:00 |

Seriously, it isn't worth doing for the sake of Spiderweb games - it's well and truly covered by this site. If you wanted to make a forum where all your old Navy pals wanted to post, on the other hand, you might get somewhere with it. Posts: 2242 | Registered: Saturday, April 10 2004 07:00 |

Good luck. We already have the Lyceum as a secondary Spiderweb site. It's more focused on the Blades design communities, but I'm sure if you had a GF 4 question, people there can answer it. -------------------- Your flower power is no match for my glower power! Eh... so, the purpose of the site is to let all the banned folks here congregate? Which they're unlikely to do anyway? (Contemplates a board with Ed, arghhhhhhhhh, TM, and adbots running around. Then, realizes that TM wouldn't be there.) Save your receipt, man. EDIT: Besides, why ezBoard? It's only like the worst board system ever. Wait a second. One of your CoC rules is that you can't bad-mouth JV or SpidWeb. Going to have all the banned members congregating that way. Methinks the Polaris interim site needs more publicity. I didn't know it existed (Aran - or whoever admins: need validation). -------------------- We shall reach greater and greater platitudes of achievement. - Richard Daley [ Tuesday, January 02, 2007 11:56: Message edited by: Dintiradan ] Posts: 1509 | Registered: Tuesday, January 10 2006 08:00 |

Done. And deleted the 450 spammer accounts still stuck in validation since June. And validated the three other real accounts I found among them. It's a nice thought, Solberg. But why don't you try taking it in a different direction? Maybe tossing in a "101 Recipes Using Tartar Sauce and Bean Curd-Flavored Ice Cream" discussion board or something not already posted would help provoke interest, though.
