Heh. This name-changing business is fun! :) I have to hope for a continued flow of inspiration, though...

Edit: And for good spelling.

Yep. Look at Rosy's. 1 to 4 in two days. :P

Mmmh... so complaining about one's rating actually *does* help. I was under the impression it only worsened the problem...

What is amusing is just the fact that people from some remote third-world region send this stuff to people all over the world and actually expect people to fall for it in spite of the bad grammar (and in spite of it having been around for almost ten years, and being one of the most famous email scams to date, altogether known as the 'Nigeria-Connection').

What is less amusing is that people actually fall for it. The kind who do are usually either greedy, dumb or really really desperate for money (so actually good company for the scammers in each case). Either way, if you really want to get rich, I advise you to play the lottery instead. You pay a hundredth of what these people usually cheat you out of, and have infinitely better odds of getting any money at all. Minus the hold-ups, beatings and murders in some lone African hotel. ;)

Dr. Seuss Is Better Than Shakespeare in General

The thing to note is that Harry Potter is addressed to children about 2-3 years older than those reading Seuss's work. The Hobbit is interesting to children 1-2 years older than those reading Harry Potter. Interest in The Lord of The Rings starts perhaps 1-2 years after the Hobbit. Shakespeare maybe (if at all), 2-3 years after Tolkien.

To summarize, Seuss is for primary school, Rowling wrote a children's book, Tolkien kicks ass, and neither of the two are a match for Shakespeare. In my very humble opinion, of course. :P

Wow, Salman Rushdie. Great author. :)

As for my favorite books (the ones after Lord of the Rings anyway), I especially like Guy Gavriel Kay, because he manages to make his characters so vividly real...
I also like Shakespeare's dramas (no, seriously). In a world full of people who mistakenly think they can speak Shakespearean English it is a relief to read the works by someone who actually could. :P

Mh. Can't think of any more right now, though there's a whole lot of outher authors. Mostly fantasy.

Now that I'm finished with school, it varies. Usually it oscillates between these two.

Alternatively:

6:45 Wake up
6:45-7:15 Get up, dress, some sort of hasty breakfast.
7:15 Boot up computer, curse because my internet connection has been cut.
7:15-7:30 Wait for opportunity to sneak to my parent's PC and turn it back on.
7:30-12:00 Check mails, message boards, etc.
12:00-13:00 Obligatory time spent outside at behest of parents.
13:00-13:30 Lunch
13:30-21:00 Computer, with breaks on occasion
21:00-21:30 some sort of dinner I suppose.
21:30-2:00 Computer
2:00 Sleep

the day after...

10:00 Wake up
11:00 Wake up once more
12:00 Wake up and decide to stumble out of bed while it's day.
12:00-13:30 Stumble helplessly around, get some breakfast (or lunch, if you will), dress (optional, I'm ashamed to say I've spent days in pajamas on occasion)
13:30-23:30 Try to get anything done, work offline because my parents have banned my internet usage, and sulk.
0:00 Sleep

Repeat with preceding. :P

(Yes, I do spend some days entirely without a computer, if you were wondering. It's only 15-20 days a year though, usually.)

Edit: The joke's getting old, and I want a new name. I might even change it regularly from now on... who knows.

The term "Blade" has been so often used in titles for Spiderweb fan sites that I can't list all titles containing it. Likewise, Stareye's Citadel already exists.

The Keep sounds cool, though.

Now, now, don't be silly. Original names are always preferrable to used ones. Otherwise you could just as soon name it 'Desperance' and be done.

Yes, it would seem so. Might have been the photos - it's not every day the geeky computer junkies here get to see pictures of sword-wielding girls. :P

Then again, it could be because you mentioned an affinity to roleplaying in your first post. Spiderweb is (in?)famous for its play-by-post roleplays, and for the roleplaying skill (or lack thereof?) of many of its members. We like to RP, and it's rare that any new member immediately mentions they share such a liking, so people are liable to jump on it.

To put it bluntly, we're all dying to see you roleplaying... :)

Is there a single sign in there that does it, or is it only the code as a whole?

Edit: And why take out the nice location line? Stay in your vase on the kitchen table or go back to making good stilistic use of the 'From' prefix, and just add the thing to your signature. :D
