Thats my point. The US gov. cant just say it was a mistake, it was regrettable and then toss in the past like they have done with many horrors. People in US burocracy should be in jail and treated as terrorist for what they did and most likely keep doing. If not this will go on forever. Someone has to tell those people that you cant just train, arm and prepare any guy out there. I am saddened to say this but they got what they deserved. Here in South America public opinion on the U.S. was bad already, now in the Bush administration period it is even worse. It has gone to such levels that many people, after observing the events on Sept. 11 usualy commented things like "They had it comming...". What we dont like about U.S. policies is the sick double standard they have. Most of those terrible dictators you acusse so much, most of those evil terrorist leaders you speak of, at one time, were close allies with the U.S. Many were trained in the "so horrible things" they do such as torturing, killing and whatnot. The very weapons they use were usually given or sold by the US. After a few years when those allies chose their own path, against US intrests, they sudenly become the axis of evil and a horrible force to be dealt with. Yes, those people are devils and deserve to be killed, but lets just remember who aided them and trained them in the first place and probably created those dictators and Osama-like Warlords. I dont know much about other countries, but I can sure tell you about Pinochet and his CIA trained minions that raped, killed and vanished many people who thought diffrently and some who had nothing to do with it. We were commies at that time, so what, we were under no dictatorship, Chile was the first country and I think the "only" country in democraticaly electing a Communist Goverment. But no, they had to eliminate the communist threat, what threat! We represented no menace at al, the only reason they did it was for the economic intrests in Chile, who at that time, and still is, one of the main copper producers in the world. Yes, now Chile is the most solid economy in South America and has established free trade with Europe, US, Canada and is working its way to Asia with Korea, exactly the opposite to its commie days. But I would NEVER trade lives for economic stability. I heard Powell mention the chilean case as a "mistake", mistake my A$$!! I dont imagine the US. forgiving Osama or Saddam if they say all their killing was a mistake. So you see, this little game of secretly creating evil dictators and terrorist were they see it fit and then conviniently removing them from the world in a glorious march of the liberation army has gone way too far and is realy pissing off world opinion. Keep pushing that way and I can assure you the Sept.11. incident will not be the last one the US. will see. Rasil felt defeated, defeated from within. Slowly all surrounding screams and growls of battle faded in darkness and silence, and time lost meaning. darkness. He was alone again. An image he had already seen. He was fighting off undead. Fighting in an underground town, iluminated only by fungal glow. He was fighting undead...lots of them. He had a sandwich in his other hand, trying to reach someone, even though no one was there. The undead kept coming, and wouldn't let him though. He kept fighting... but his strength left him... ...Just when he thought he was about to expire the zombies faded, the town was emty. In the distance a dark figure aproached him slowly, a cloaked figure. Rasil made a final stand. The figure walked closer and closer until he was right in front of him. Rasil reached for his dagger but the figure lifted his head revealing a familiar face, yet distant.  The man smiled. "That is not what I want...you have something for me...?" he asked staring at the sandwich. Rasil gave the cloaked man his sandwich. The man smiled "Thanks kid" and turned away. Just as he was about to fade into the darkness he turned back to him. "Take this ring kid...it might help you some day..." With that said, the cloaked man faded into the dark... Light. Suddenly the sounds of battle came out again as Rasil regained his counciousness, looking at his own hand he noticed the shining glow of the ring and smiled. OOC: A little help from an old friend... Defend a city against the Glider Ballista? Mmm...maybe...I guess Kel-Aziz is to melee strong to be in this RP right? He has no magical abilities or defenses whatsoever, but as a former Royal Guard he is an elite warrior and has a neat armour and a pair of great weapons. No?...A thief character maybe? Nickname: Rat. Age: 18 Eye Color: Black. Hair Color: Black. Skin Color: White, somewhat tanned. Height: 1.70m. (I use meter sistem) Stamina: Very energetic and fast, due to the demands of his job. Build: Skiny. Weapons: A pair of daggers. (does not use poison, he is not an assasin.) Clothing: Dresses like a Bum. A bunch of raggs over him, thats pretty much it. Equipment: He always carries a pouch for gold and othe things he may take. Background: He is a little thief known very well by the locals, he has been in the Castles dungeouns more than once. He likes to steal from outsiders and he usualy lives in the basement of a local alchemist called "Leo" who alows him to stay there as long as he collects some alchemy ingredients for him every now and then. OOC: Time for my character to leave. Had fun with you people, GG. IC: As Kel-Aziz removed the last boulder out of his way a bright and almost blinding ray of light pierced his eyes and face. As he covered his eyes with his dirty hands, he slowly began to recognize the surroundings. The explosion he had bearly escaped alive and that had separated him from the rest of the group back in the sewers had led him into a natural underground tunnel wich led him righ outside the town limits. Smiling, as the heat of the new sun embraced him again, Kel-Aziz turned to see the town he left behind. Smoke still rised from many of the destroyed buildings and the inn was but a pile of rubble. Even from his distant point Kel-Aziz could see many of the zombies and skeleton remains burn and turn to smoke with the touch of the new sun. Some even turned and moved slightly, trying in vain to remain in the world of the living. Fortunatly, after a few minutes, nothing but the human casualties remained. After a while, a few of the more distant housings began to show signs of life, as women, children and old men slowly walked out into the open, walking along the corpse filled streets searching for their husbands, fathers and sons....the search only revealed sorrow and pain as many encountered their familiars or lovers. It was a sad sight to behold, a horrible one, yet a sight he was painfully accustomed to by the curse of inmortality. Had they realy won anything? "Defeat isn't bitter if you don't swallow it", though Kel-Aziz to himself as he gave his back to the town, acomodating his long black cloack around him and slowly started walking to the new horizon, walking and searching for more adventures that would keep him from the madness of inmortality. OOC: Sorry if I didnt discribe the plan better. My idea was to just jump of the plataform, you an Oscevello can fly so you have no poblem there. Remember its only half way up, and a huga plataform like that does not need to speed up in its fall to squash any being under it. As for Jesitonia I was hoping the Cyobeast pushed her under the plataform. OOC: MSW, u have a PM concerning some character interpretation problems. IC: Kel-Aziz stared at the static Oscevello, he then turned to see the battle between the Cryobeast and Jesitonia. Surprisingly, Jesitonia seemed to be taking the harder hits from the ice bolts thanks to the maane link. Calisto spoke again in a worried tone "We must take him out of that chair...there must be a spell that...". Kel-Aziz interrupted "Steel is a discipline on its own, and a master fighter is capable of feats of arms that can be as potent as any magic." With a fast low spin movement aimed at the thrones legs, both blessed waveblades sliced by it like a hot knife through butter. Just as the throne fell to a side Oscevello waked up from the trance. He then turned to Kel-Aziz "How did you...". "There will be time for that later." Kel-Aziz replied as he pointed to the chains pulling the plataform from the sides. "Those are our next targets" Both Oscevello and Calisto noded. "Oscevello you take the ones on the left, Calisto you take the middle ones they seem enchanted in some way, I will take the ones on the right." "What about the Cryobeast...?" asked Calisto staring at the still ragin battle. "Dont worry about the beast, It is quick and agile, I have seen it battle the Nether Dragons, Jesitonia in the other hand, is frozen to the ground and bearly capable to sustain her defenses, now quick, we dont have much time". -------------------- "I don't want to achieve immortality through my work, I want to achieve it through not dying." Just so you know I clicked America. Yes, there are more countries in that continent besides the US. and Canada. Bother to look below a bit and you will discover South America, wich is still, America. You should separate South from North Amrica (excluding Mexico) if your counting english speaking countries. BTW: Who is the older guy here that clicked on 50? Just curious. I dont smoke, and that is a miracle considering Chile has the highest rate of smokers per teenage pop. IC: With one last effort, aided by the sudden mass blessing of Lavius, Kel-Aziz pulled his whole body over the plataform only to encounter an even more astonishing display of flames and lightnings than the battle between the Cryobeast and the Nether Dragons. This time he watched as Jesitonia resisted all kinds of ofensive spells from Oscevello and Calisto who continued shooting at Jesitonia's position. Then Kel-Aziz realized what was happening, Jesitionia was not aware of him thanks to the constant magical attacks wich served as a perfect cover. From under his cloak both Darubian waveblades shined once again, even in the dephs of this evil shrine, they glowed with renewed stregth now that Lavius had blessed them. But as a blessing, the light also poved to be a curse when the bright aura around the waveblades revealed his position to the previously distracted Jesitonia. She quickly turned her head and made eye contact with Kel-Aziz just as he was making his swing. From here time slowed to a crawl. For any mortal eye this was a second, a blink, but for Kel-Aziz and Jesitonia it seemed an eternity. As the waveblade reached Jesitonias cloak she turned the rest of her body over, along with the invisible shield previously blocking the magic missiles from Oscevello and Calisto. Jesitonias body turn came just in time to push the waveblade aside with the shield, however, just as Kel-Aziz's second waveblade came right to pierce the weakened shield, a sudden burst of energy reached Jesitonia from behind. The beam launched seconds earlier by Calisto reached its target. With a massive force Jesitionia's whole body was sent flying towards Kel-Aziz the surprised Kel-Aziz who made a fast dodge with his body...not fast enough. As a giants blow Kel-Aziz received Jesitionia's weight pushing his body over...and back off the plataform. Before totaly falling over the plataform Kel-Aziz used his faster trained hands to strike the plataform with his waveblade as he fell, but Jesitonia did not waste her chance and grabed on Kel-Aziz's long black cloak. As the time comes back to normal the result of these fast movements is a cloaked warrior holding from his waveblades, pierced into the plataform, and a young woman mage holding her hole body from the warriors cloak. Both hanging right over a big glowing pit to the Netherworld. As the Cryobeast and the Nether Dragon fell, the remaining humans charged the weak and outnumbered demons. Kel-Aziz inmediatly moved to strike the choking Nether Dragon as it turned over itself in a desperate attempt to breath through all the smoke comming out of its mouth. This desperate moves provided the men nearby a chance to aproach unoticed. With a hand gesture Kel-Aziz motioned the men over the agonizing beasts. OOC: Wow, impresive description MSW. thnx. IC: As Kel-Aziz sliced the head of a nearby hordling he turned to see the impresive pirotecnic spectacle the Cryobeast and the two Nether Dragons were holding. Cold breath here, fire breath there. The battle was enough to keep the demons at bay, waiting for a chance to cross by the beasts and slay the remaining humans in the room. The warriors also waited, not so eager to encounter the demons on the other side. Kel-Aziz however, noticed the Cryobeast would not last long if something was not done. He closed in slowly to the Nether Dragons, waveblades drawn and shining brighlty from the holy blessings laid upon them in ages past. The beasts were too focused in combat to notice the pitfull human form closing into their position. One of the Nether Dragons, however, noticed his precence, but not after one of Kel-Aziz's waveblades sliced off it's tail. The beast roared with flames and pain as it turned to meet the insolent human. Kel-Aziz quickly moved around the enraged beast showing his back to the remaining demons who watched the battle with great intrest. Their evil demonic smiles would soon turn to horror as the Nether Dragon charged into Kel-Aziz's direction who just seconds before impact jumped aside, the Nether Dragon had charged with such fury and rage that it could not control the huge mass of it's body, wich slamed violently over a bunch of demons, now burried under the rock and cold scales of the huge lizard. Not giving the lizard a chance to recover from it's fall, Kel-Aziz jumped over the creatures head, lifted one of the Nether Dragon's head scales with one of his waveblades and pierced deep into the flesh inderneath it with the other, introducing even his own hand and then arm down into the flesh of the Dragon, down and deep until it reached it's main nervious sistem. As he retrieved his blood covered arm and waveblade from the Dragons head he turned to see the battle between the Cryobeast and the remainig Nether Dragon... OOC: Sorry for my absence. My internet conection is back up. I have read all posts since my last apearence and this is what I get from it. Outside the Shrine, Surface (raining): -Lynn -Crimson Guard -Galen.(possesed?) -Undead Horde (I suppose the crimson guard lured the great numbers of undead outside) Lower Levels of the Shrine: -Kel-Aziz -Cryobeast -Mercenaries -Demons Main underground secret Shrine: -Jesitonia -Oscevello -Calisto -nether creatures crawling from the pit. At the main Evil Altar. (inside the same main Shrine?) -Lavius -Eirik -Handfull of Warriors -Telebrant (Runing towards them) Some place I dont know about. -Maxim I wont post anything untill I get a clear idea of what is going on, I dont want to mess up. Kel-Aziz ran towards the front line were the Crimson Guard holded the demonic forces. With the dashing speed characterisic of his combat style, Kel-Aziz pierced the very thick mass of the enemy forces. The speed boots he still had (gained back in the first Zombie RP), exagerated this effect even more, surprising the nearby warriors and confusing the enemy mass. All the warriors could see was a black long cloak dashing here and there in a beautifull yet lethal dance of twin waveblades, the splashing demon blood formed elegant patterns as the waveblades threw them into the skies. It would have been a horrifing and demoralising sight to behold for any mortals. Demons, however, could not care less about morale. OOC: Zephir, the Cryobeast is still wounded, he was taken down with the rest of the wounded soldiers. BTW, my internet conection is messed up so I wont post to often for quite some time. Kel-Aziz swiftly extracted the waveblade from the ghasts corpse. "That was the last of them" He said as he aproached Eirik's body. "That wound will leave a nasty scar". Said one of the warriors nearby. "Not only a scar." Said a pondering Lavius. "I'm afraid this man was struck by a special ghast. A scar like that could not possibly make a man faint unless the claws are enchanted in some evil way." Kel-Aziz aproached the ghasts corpse and with another swift move from his waveblade retreived the ghasts hand. "Take this cleric" Tossing the hand at him "What can you make out of his claws?". Lavius stared at the claws for some time. "Just as I thought, these undead are not common ones, they carry great evil power with them." From behind the group Oscevello interrupted the conversation. He was attending the faint Calisto and the impressive Cryobeast. "That is what we have tried to tell you all along...these creatures are stronger than any other you have met before.
