Pff. I work for a graphic design and layout place, and we often deal with double-page spread images that clock in at a tidy 70 or 80 MBs. That's in a compressed format, like jpg, not the high-end production eps or tiffs. I'd be more than happy to post one, but it would even take the t1/cable/dsl people a couple of minutes to get it all in. Just say the word.

Sir David,
download NIH Image. It's a crude little photoshop-esque program, only 4MB and runs on System 7. It has some weird color issues, but for making smilies it'll do. (It supports gifs)
Type it into google. Or just type image processing programs into google.
You'd be amazed by what you can find if you just look.

Do you? I sure as heck don't. I don't even look at post numbers. I'll value your opinion if you make sense.
I'm more impressed by lower member numbers, since then at least you know they've been around longer and know more about what has transpired. That doesn't make them any smarter or insightful, though.
