I'm going to refrain from posting the WTC photo that Scorp found - it's 7 megabytes.

EDIT : He also claims to know about a 14mb picture.

How hard can it be to create an image that's, say, 50,000 by 50,000 pixels in the maximum number of colors your computer can support, which each pixel randomly chosen but different from its neighbors?

—Alorael, who doesn't think it would quick, or fun, to produce such an image. But it wouldn't be terribly difficult.

Pff. I work for a graphic design and layout place, and we often deal with double-page spread images that clock in at a tidy 70 or 80 MBs. That's in a compressed format, like jpg, not the high-end production eps or tiffs. I'd be more than happy to post one, but it would even take the t1/cable/dsl people a couple of minutes to get it all in. Just say the word.

If you have to put it up, get someone else to host it. I think Jeff would burst some important blood vessels if someone used that much space and bandwidth for the picture. Not to mention the loading times...

Ouch. I won't use that idea, anyway. None of us want to kill Jeff, as far as I know.

You are not god! If you were god, you'd have done something about something in this world, but this world is still the same garbage can as always. So why should this go on any longer?

I wont take up space. Bandwidth, maybe, but I don't really understand what bandwidth really is, so I don't know.

He is the god of stupidity? He knows nothing? I don't know. the world works in weird ways. Some of them even I don't understand. The world is a garbage can? Cause people fail to notice their mistakes. Even if they do notice them, they don't want to admit they were wrong and fail to correct them.
