I'd wager that physical evolution has not stopped, either. As our environment changes, so will we. It is only in the last 100 years or so that massive amounts of us began sitting for the most part of the day. I bet over time, our spines and butts will change to accomodate this. -------------------- ... Posts: 647 | Registered: Wednesday, February 19 2003 08:00 |

Vermont and Hawaii both have civil union cermonies, but they are not recognized as a legally binding marriage anywhere else. Here in Mass they're trying to pass a law that describes marriage as only the union between a man and a woman. How progressive. -------------------- ... A slight aside: Is gay marriage legalized anywhere in Canada? Or do they have some sort of civil union counterpart? -------------------- ... Posts: 647 | Registered: Wednesday, February 19 2003 08:00 |

...I just bought the new blur album. I like it, it's very Radiohead-ish experimental. [ Saturday, May 24, 2003 08:35: Message edited by: Ramon Benitez ] -------------------- ... Posts: 647 | Registered: Wednesday, February 19 2003 08:00 |

Jeezus Christ, i flipped it (coz the light was coming from the wrong side) and adjusted the contrast to have it work better with the starker matrix image. I didn't hand-color the lips or anything you weirdos. -------------------- ... Posts: 647 | Registered: Wednesday, February 19 2003 08:00 |

Uh, define Christian home. We didn't have crosses hanging on the walls or anything, but the rents definitely were down with the whole Protestant everything. And I wasn't allowed to swear. Much. -------------------- ... Posts: 647 | Registered: Wednesday, February 19 2003 08:00 |

I actually don't think that the relocation overseas of cheap factory jobs is such a terrible thing. It promotes economic growth in previously underdeveloped/destitute areas. You could hold up Singapore as a showcase example of this. The big problem, however, are the conditions that are prevalent in those factories, as they are often in countries with little or no labor laws. But even to some, slaving away 10 hours a day in a stifling factory for pennies beats digging for roots in the forest. -------------------- ... I downloaded a couple of samples off their website; they sound kind of Ben Folds/Five-ish, if you like that sort of thing. Nice shoegaze-y/sweatercore stuff. -------------------- ... Posts: 647 | Registered: Wednesday, February 19 2003 08:00 |
