quote:Yeah, I know that. Now if I were to pay for their service, I should be able to put anything I please on their servers, so long as it isn't illegal files. But anyways, my point is that it's unfair to remove a site just because somebody doesn't like it. Who decides what's offensive, what's tasteless, and what's good? Perhaps someone out there might have found my site humorous. People's tastes differ, so they shouldn't act on their opinions alone. It would make them a better web host if they didn't judge their hosted pages based upon "offensiveness" and "taste," and perhaps it would give them a better reputation. quote:The graphics do look a little bit similar to those of the Infinity Engine. Personally I find the game fun for the first couple of play-throughs, then it starts to get old, since it has no multiplayer. </leetness> [ Tuesday, November 29, 2005 21:56: Message edited by: Eldibs ] -------------------- "We can learn a lot from crayons. Personally, if I get a song I don't like stuck in my head, I listen to a song I do like. The worst song I've ever gotten stuck in my head is The Soundtrack to Hell, by Satan... erm... I mean "Skater Boy," by Avril Lavigne. I'm not going to post the lyrics, simply because I hate the song so much. Just thinking about that song makes me angry. </leetness> -------------------- "We can learn a lot from crayons. Some are short, some are dull, some are sharp, some are tall. You make a good point. Their service was free and they were not obligated to keep my site up for any reason. Now if I had paid for their service, that would be a different story. I'm just upset that my Constitutional right to free speech was ignored because someone found my site "offensive." If we went around banning everything offensive, we wouldn't have great shows like South Park or Family Guy. Maddox sums it up nicely with his page about websense. -------------------- "We can learn a lot from crayons. Some are short, some are dull, some are sharp, some are tall. Well, among other things, there is a page with mathematical evidence for women being evil, but that one is more of a joke than anything. The site is sort of a public outlet for anger at various things, similar to screaming in public, but more anonymous. I'm also using it to host a few things I made, and Pyro's Genforge 3 Trainer. </leetness> [ Tuesday, November 29, 2005 18:09: Message edited by: Eldibs ] -------------------- "We can learn a lot from crayons. I have 50MB of space, and 3GB of bandwidth for free. I use Sphosting. The only downside so far is the 2.5MB file limit. I did have an Angelfire account, but they got rid of it because they don't like freedom of speech, so I'm boycotting them. </leetness> [ Tuesday, November 29, 2005 15:08: Message edited by: Eldibs ] -------------------- "We can learn a lot from crayons. That's true. It doesn't matter how great the game is if it doesn't sell. Kinda reminds me of something the Technology director for my High School said: "I'm not trying to fix computers, I'm trying to make people happy." </leetness> [ Monday, November 28, 2005 20:47: Message edited by: Eldibs ] -------------------- "We can learn a lot from crayons. Thanks. Personally, I almost never have my AV program on. It uses up valuable system resources. Instead, I just do a full system scan every now and then. My PC runs better that way. Now I just need to find that song Thralni wrote, and my entire site will have been restored. Edit: You can get to my site by clicking the word 'horrible' in my sig. Overclocking can be dangerous, but it can also be handy, as long as you have the proper cooling setup. Sometimes, the settings are in the bios instead of on the motherboard. Just don't fry your CPU. </leetness> -------------------- "We can learn a lot from crayons. Some are short, some are dull, some are sharp, some are tall. I would love to see an Exile 4, as I like the Exile engine better. For some reason, to me, Exile is easier to look at. quote:By that logic, nobody should make any Vertical Scrolling Shooters, as they are outdated.
