gotten an annoying song stuck in your head?. Every morning for the past couple of weeks I've been putting MTV while getting ready in the morning, and I mostly end up with whatever song was last playing stuck on my head all day. However, this past week I got that new shakira song stuck in my head. It's not that I don't like it, but it's getting annoying. So the topic is to post the lyrics for whatever song you have stuck in your head at the time, or the most annoying song you've ever gotten stuck in your head. Mine's Don't Bother by Shakira Ps. the most annoying song that has ever been stuck in my head though I don't remember the lyrics. It's that song from the South Park movie, "It's easy m'okay" or something like that. Personally, if I get a song I don't like stuck in my head, I listen to a song I do like. The worst song I've ever gotten stuck in my head is The Soundtrack to Hell, by Satan... erm... I mean "Skater Boy," by Avril Lavigne. I'm not going to post the lyrics, simply because I hate the song so much. Just thinking about that song makes me angry. </leetness> -------------------- "We can learn a lot from crayons. Some are short, some are dull, some are sharp, some are tall. Some have funny names and they are all different colors, but they all learn to live in the same box." "Happy is the man that has wisdom and gets discernment. For having wisdom as gain is better than having silver as gain and having wisdom as produce is better than gold itself" Proverbs 3:14-3:15 The horrible part about life is, you'll never get out of it alive. Yes, yes, and many times the songs are just played over and over and I wouldn't know any names. Not to mention good tune and less-than-par lyric memorization. :P -------------------- -ben4808 Posts: 3360 | Registered: Friday, June 25 2004 07:00 |

You are a sincere moralist With a beautiful finger you trace me I am a genuine terrorist Your thoughts are as they truly are; The revolution has begun Tied in love by a specialist For such a long time, being hung by me An egoist who wants to verify our love, I want to grope at you until you shy away You look ahead into the distance Ah, I can't think straight whenever you are around me Is it okay to love? Hate me for what I am Hate me for what I'm not Hate me with anything and everything you've got -Criss Angel "Hate Me" from World of Illusion 1. (Original CD credited to "AngelDust" but now is sold as "Criss Angel"). Crunchy techno-industrial metal with a poignantly romantic edge...and some not-so-annoyingly catchy riffs. For the truly sanity-dissolving, mind-numbingly "reach for an icepick" earworm syndrome, it takes accidental ingestion of inane bubble-gum pop like "Oops I did it again". P.S. - TM, man, the Japanese novelty gimmick wore off on the second day. How about communicating something worth reading in English again? I prefer listening to music without lyrics. Sometimes I get a melody stuck in my memory; it's most annoying if I don't know what it is. Once I find out where I remember the melody from (and that can take months to years), it goes away. quote:The song you are thinking of is "Dragostea din Tei". Its name translates roughly as "Love in the linden trees", and it's by a Romanian band called O-Zone. Don't ask how I know this. Freude, schöner Götterfunken, Tochter aus Elysium, Wir betreten feuertrunken. Himmlische, dein Heiligtum! Deine Zauber binden wieder Was die Mode streng geteilt; Alle Menschen werden Brüder Wo dein sanfter Flügel weilt. —Alorael, who has few songs stuck in his head because he listens to few songs with what can be properly called lyrics. Ode to Joy does not, alas, meet any of the earworm criteria. Posts: 14579 | Registered: Saturday, December 1 2001 08:00 |

Last song I got stuck in my head was "Tell The World" by Hillsong United, back in May. Gave the album a listen or two, and archived it away with no intention of ever playing anything from it. Three days later, found I was still humming this one song. I put it on the system and it turned out to be a big hit for us. -------------------- SupaNik: Aran, you're not big enough to threaten Ash.
