gotten an annoying song stuck in your head?. Every morning for the past couple of weeks I've been putting MTV while getting ready in the morning, and I mostly end up with whatever song was last playing stuck on my head all day. However, this past week I got that new shakira song stuck in my head. It's not that I don't like it, but it's getting annoying.
So the topic is to post the lyrics for whatever song you have stuck in your head at the time, or the most annoying song you've ever gotten stuck in your head.

Mine's

Don't Bother
by Shakira

Ps. the most annoying song that has ever been stuck in my head though I don't remember the lyrics. It's that song from the South Park movie, "It's easy m'okay" or something like that.

Personally, if I get a song I don't like stuck in my head, I listen to a song I do like. The worst song I've ever gotten stuck in my head is The Soundtrack to Hell, by Satan... erm... I mean "Skater Boy," by Avril Lavigne.

I'm not going to post the lyrics, simply because I hate the song so much. Just thinking about that song makes me angry.

Yes, yes, and many times the songs are just played over and over and I wouldn't know any names. Not to mention good tune and less-than-par lyric memorization. :P

You are a sincere moralist
With a beautiful finger you trace me
I am a genuine terrorist
Your thoughts are as they truly are;
The revolution has begun

Tied in love by a specialist
For such a long time, being hung by me
An egoist who wants to verify our love,
I want to grope at you until you shy away

You look ahead into the distance
Ah, I can't think straight whenever you are around me

Is it okay to love? Shaking in the night
It's okay to be what you want. More indiscretion
Go crazy enough to get used to my lips, but
A dramatic unravelling to the limit
I am your vanilla

...What post-facto bravado
That cool you is plastic
A hot looking ecologist
That burning oral help is tantalizing

Your face is being perverted
Ah, I realize myself when I'm in the sun

Is it okay to love? Shaking in the night
It's okay to be what you want. Faster and faster
It's enough pain to get to my lips, but
It's just words
You and I will burn, but not burn out

Ah, how many mornings did we greet?
Ah, I wonder if we finished the night?
Ah, we've been encased in the sky
Ah, we are being immersed in a bed of white flowers

Is it okay to love? Shaking in the night
It's okay to be what you want. Hotter and hotter
To a regrettable limit,
In order to be addicted to you--
I see teardrops on your knees--
I want you, I'll be true

Is it okay to love? Shaking in the night
It's okay to be what you want. Be more yourself
Go crazy enough to get used to my gait, but
A dramatic unravelling to the limit
You are my watchman

NOT BURNING LOVE

アー、幾つ朝を迎えれば
アー、夜は終わるのだろうか
アー、空に鏤められた
アー、白い花に囲まれて行く

愛してもういいかい?揺れる夜に
あるがままでいいよ I’VE SEEN A TAIL
悔しい位に
君にはまってるのに

I WANNA NEED. NOT BETRAY!

愛してもういいかい?揺れる夜に
あるがままでいいよもっと君を
狂おしい位に慣れた腰付きが
解け逢う程に
君は。。。ぼくの。。。番人だ

Hate me for what I am
Hate me for what I'm not
Hate me with anything and everything you've got

-Criss Angel "Hate Me" from World of Illusion 1. (Original CD credited to "AngelDust" but now is sold as "Criss Angel").

Crunchy techno-industrial metal with a poignantly romantic edge...and some not-so-annoyingly catchy riffs. For the truly sanity-dissolving, mind-numbingly "reach for an icepick" earworm syndrome, it takes accidental ingestion of inane bubble-gum pop like "Oops I did it again".

P.S. - TM, man, the Japanese novelty gimmick wore off on the second day. How about communicating something worth reading in English again?

You do know that hew will just reply in Japanese, don't you? Most likely something about your mum.

Anyway, I usually have The Entertainer, The Great Escape of a Queens of The Stone Age song stuck in my head at alternate times of the day.

"Bird fly, fish swim, ape walk - step up, step up!"

A japanese anime song with that sort of lyric (after translation) got stuck in my head once.

I prefer listening to music without lyrics. Sometimes I get a melody stuck in my memory; it's most annoying if I don't know what it is. Once I find out where I remember the melody from (and that can take months to years), it goes away.

Whenever someone complains about having a song stuck in their head, I help them out by singing the Facts of Life theme song.

Drago Ste Dinte... unsure if that's the correct spelling, but that got stuck in my head and grew on me like an unwanted fungus.

That's what happens to me. It's not that I get the whole song, but mainly 3 lines and I keep saying it all over again until I just want to make me to shut up.

VCH - I like that song too, one of my fav of hers in english. I'm just sick of singing it.

The song you are thinking of is "Dragostea din Tei". Its name translates roughly as "Love in the linden trees", and it's by a Romanian band called O-Zone. Don't ask how I know this.

Currently have Pink Floyd - Learning to Fly stuck in my head, but I can handle that as it's a brilliant song. Is anyone else here a Floyd fan?

Freude, schöner Götterfunken,
Tochter aus Elysium,
Wir betreten feuertrunken.
Himmlische, dein Heiligtum!
Deine Zauber binden wieder
Was die Mode streng geteilt;
Alle Menschen werden Brüder
Wo dein sanfter Flügel weilt.

—Alorael, who has few songs stuck in his head because he listens to few songs with what can be properly called lyrics. Ode to Joy does not, alas, meet any of the earworm criteria.

Last song I got stuck in my head was "Tell The World" by Hillsong United, back in May. Gave the album a listen or two, and archived it away with no intention of ever playing anything from it. Three days later, found I was still humming this one song. I put it on the system and it turned out to be a big hit for us.
