Yeah I am early, but if you haven't noticed, I can be gone for months at a time.

So Merry Christmas, and have a happy holiday, whatever you celebrate. (I say Merry Christmas as I celebrate Christmas.)

You are early, but at least it's after Thanksgiving. Merry Christmas, and may Santa put a little attack ferret in the stocking of every good little child in the world.

Merry Christmas. It's better too early than too late, I suppose ;) .

Only if you can assure me it's not alive.

I'll save my Christmas greeting to a later date. Then I can create a whole new topic and irritate the mods by spamming! Isn't Christmas great? :P

I wish you all a happy winter solstice!

And Kwanzaa, don't forget Kwanzaa.

I think I'll join Ironweed on this one.

The attack ferrets are just a little joke of mine. For the last two and a half years or so, I've been volunteering a few days a week at the Greater Chicago Ferret Association shelter in Lyons, Illinois. It's a fantastic no-kill shelter just for ferrets, and there are usually around 100 ferrets in the shelter at any given time, although the turnover is quite high. Although most ferrets are affectionate and sweet, and rarely bite unless provoked, there are a few that, for whatever reason, bite people who try to handle them without provocation. I got the term "attack ferret" from a sign that was placed on the cage of a group of ferrets with biting tendencies. The sign read, "Beware of Attack Ferrets." I found this to be intensely amusing.

I wonder what a sled being pulled by ferrets would look like...

Hm, you're gonna have to wait until Christmas Eve to find out. Meanwhile, you can watch the movie in which Rudolf and the other reindeer fight against the ferrets to see who pulls the sleigh this year. Now showing at a theater near you!

Happy Christmas and a Merry New Year.
When it was American thanksgiving, there was all sorts of anti-American jokes an' stuff on the radio (or so I'm told, I don't listen to much radio on account of it being broken in both my parent's cars) here.

Erm... What the hell are you talking about? (Blasphemy? Or are atheists acceptable? I am not protesting, just philosphing)

EDIT: It would really be appropriate with: "Spartan 117" as a title, if you have read the Halo books you will get the point. :D

Since Christmas is no longer about Jesus, Merry X-mas. Better yet... Merry Santamas.

"X-mas" is not an anti-Christian abbreviation as the uneducated masses *gestures to LF predictably* seem to believe. It refers to the first letter of Jesus's greek name, which is X. Greek does not have a 'Ch', merely an 'X' which functions as it.

And watch this come up next year, or even later in December. *sigh*

You know, it amuses me that people like you whinge on and on about how commercialized Christmas has become, and yet you wouldn't know Ash Wednesday or All Saints' if they jumped up and bit you in the ass.

Then maybe you should lay off the petit-bourgeoisie religious reaction and stop whining about a holiday the majority of people either like or seem to tolerate. I mean, if you don't want to celebrate it, we're not stopping you.
