There should be a selection for average people. I would want to be a professional canister maker. I can just imagine how to mess people up. *makes canister* *new recruit uses it* You just grew another nipple! :)

I suppose that America is free in that you can vote and you can pretty much choose any career you want.
quote:
I don't consider myself an American, even though I've lived there all my life; mainly becaused I don't give into to all the brainwashing by the government.
Being American doesn't mean supporting its government, it's more of a sense of nationalism that people love their country.

The government reflects the will of the people and there is a lot of stupid people living in the United States. Iraq, well let's not talk about that...

Well I don't think in GF1 there was any you could recruit. However, In GF2 there was a huge roamer and a rat in one of the marshy areas, and a battle alpha somewhere that I can't recall (maybe more?)In GF3 you can take Alwan and Greta right outside of the school. And in GF4 there is Greenfang in Southforge Citadel and Shotwell in the Shaper Camp. There may be more, however those are the main ones that I remember.

Armor vs Resistances in Geneforge 4: Rebellion
Warrior
Member # 7638

It means that if you take 100 damage, wearing those gaunlets would let you take 96. But the % is not cummulative. You have to take each piece of armour separately . For example you are wearing 5 peices of armour that each reduce damage by 20%. A monster hits you for 100 damage (without armour) The first piece takes away 20 damage.
100*0.8=80
The next takes 20 percent of that. 80*0.8=64

64*0.8=51.2
51.2*0.8=40.96
40.96*0.8= 32.768

The armour only took away 67.232 damage not 100.

How many bodybuilders does it take to screw in a lightbulb?

100, one to hold the lightbulb still, 99 to pick up the building and turn it.

The wikipedia article seems pretty solid.

Also several thousand years ago, their genetics may be slightly different. Back then the weak die. The natural selection, I would think, would tend to make stronger humans. Due to our increased living standards, the weak survive and back then they didn't.

A man and a nun go golfing. The man swings his put and hits into a sand trap. Then he says "Damn! I missed!"
The nun says "Don't you say that awful word!"

The man swings again and misses.
"Damn! I missed!"
"If you say that word one more time, God will smite you down."

He swings again and misses. "Damn!"
Then a HUGE bolt of lighting comes from the heavens and strikes the nun, leaving ashes. A huge voice sky booms "Damn! I missed!"

Question for Geneforge Series veterans in Geneforge Series
Warrior

Working from beginning to end is a good idea. When you start at Geneforge 4, the gameplay runs much smoother and you may have trouble playing Geneforge 1 because you are used to the different engine.

I had trouble replaying the first one because of the lack of spells and the graphics weren't as good.

If they attack you on sight, all you need to do is hit shift+d and bring up the cheat box then type in "pleaselikeme" with no spaces. That usually sets it back to normal.

The troop levels in Iraq fluctuate by several thousand every month anyway. I seriously doubt going from 140,000 to 160,000 will make a huge difference.
It might make a little difference if all 20,000 was dropped in the Baghdad area, but really all that is is more targets. It isn't enough men to stop the hit and run tactics in the city. We are already passed the 3,000 deaths mark (of soldiers), need make it more?
I don't like this war business at all.

I have Mozilla Firefox and Norton anti virus and firewall. It seems to be that every time I go on the Internet, my browser takes me to something called SysProtect and WinFixer. I know that those programs are spyware  . My question is how can I eliminate them from my computer? I have Windows XP. Thank you for your help in advance.

I don't think it will work mainly for several reasons.

a) It has no built in air conditioner; Iraq and Afghanistan are very hot unlike Canada.

b) Does it have filtered air? Gas bombs, poisonous chemicals...

c) It has ceramic plates. they can't take more than several shots because they shatter.

d) I can't see how that would stop a club. It has no preset shape and a the sheer power of a club could break ribs or even your skull. In the Middle Ages they started using brute force weapons such as clubs and maces because swords couldn't pierce plate amour.
