I've been thinking about this for awhile. You see, I've always wondered why the agent's default graphic had pale green skin. Maybe all shapers are like that. Then I supposed that was to represent the use of canisters since the agent was the only character that shows skin. Has anyone else ever wondered about this oddly coloured skin? -------------------- Milla-Displacer Beastie This is also a good site Posts: 650 | Registered: Thursday, October 4 2001 07:00 |

It has to do with the tinting of the agents clothes. The colors kind of wash together. Posts: 4643 | Registered: Friday, February 10 2006 08:00 |

Given that the Shaper wears a shadowy robe that leaves only creepy red eyes visible, and the Guardian wears full body armor, the only skin you can actually see is the Agent's. Perhaps they're all like that - which would be one thing that clearly distinguishes them from the humans in the game... -------------------- Encyclopaedia Ermariana • Forum Archives • Forum Statistics • RSS [Topic / Forum] My Blog • Polaris • I eat novels for breakfast. I've always thought that the weird colouring comes from the essence stored within their bodies. Anyone agree? -------------------- I have nothing more to do in this world, so I can go & pester the inhabitants of the next one with a pure concscience. Here's another thought: Shanti is hot, green or no green. Anyone agree? :P Posts: 20 | Registered: Sunday, February 27 2005 08:00 |

Maybe it's just Dikiyoba, but Dikiyoba doesn't see the green in the agent's skin. It's abnormally pale skin for someone who doesn't wear a lot of armor and presumably travels around outside a lot, but it's not green. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

I find Agent Miranda hotter myself. But she doesn't count since this isn't the G4 forum. -------------------- Milla-Displacer Beastie This is also a good site Posts: 650 | Registered: Thursday, October 4 2001 07:00 |

Most Agents look to me like they've been dyed as Easter eggs. And they've been living in a cave for the last year and a half. Sitting still in a cave for a year and a half. Not necessarily alive. It gives the lichen time to grow, you see. You lived in a cave? Nalyd's soul is a cave. Only worse. . . *Moment of introspection*. . . *Shudder*. I, at least, brush the lichen off. I can do evil. But here's the truly scary part: It's my normal laugh. :D  quote:*shakes his head in disgust* They're all just a series of numbers on a computer. Personally, I don't give a (insert expletive here) about how hot a series of numbers looks. Sure, they may have some nice graphics, but none of them are anything to write home about. The agent has a 'sheen' to her skin. And no, you're not imagining it. She DOES have a slightly glowing skin. However, it's not always green. The colour of the glow is the same as the colour of her uniform. I remember noticing how sexy glowing skin was on a relatively well toned girl all the way back in GF1. -------------------- VIVE LA TAKERS! VIVE LA REBELLION! VIVE LA GHALDRING! I thought I noticed a slight shimmering in the Shaper robes in G1, as well. -------------------- You Shall Die Laughing: http://www.worfthecat.ermarian.net/converted The Roost: www.roost01.proboards104.com. Birds of a feather flock together. Posts: 794 | Registered: Thursday, July 27 2006 07:00 |

Yes, he did. The Shaper's robes to shimmer. Well, not shimmer, but they glow. -------------------- May the fires of Undeath burn in your soul, and consume it. Posts: 1636 | Registered: Wednesday, January 5 2005 08:00 |

I'm guessing the Shapers glowing red eyes may be due to the Geneforge effect. -------------------- Milla-Displacer Beastie This is also a good site Posts: 650 | Registered: Thursday, October 4 2001 07:00 |

quote:They were not. Um, I mean, if the Geneforge and assorted canisters were hidden away on a remote island and eventually destroyed, then why do all Shapers have red eyes? Or is the "Geneforge effect" something that isn't limited to the Geneforge? -------------------- Encyclopaedia Ermariana • Forum Archives • Forum Statistics • RSS [Topic / Forum] My Blog • Polaris • I eat novels for breakfast.
