A group of drakons would crush a group of gazers simplay because they have more helath, their attack can hit multiple enemies, and they have higher quick action. -------------------- "640K ought to be enough for anybody." -- Bill Gates, 1981 "But what ... is it good for?" --Engineer at the Advanced Computing Systems Division of IBM, 1968, commenting on the microchip. I got the impression that battle Alphas were on the front lines, and Gaurdians were the last line of defense. It really isn't pracitcal to charge an enemy if they have that much range(turrets, batons, spells, etc.) -------------------- "640K ought to be enough for anybody." -- Bill Gates, 1981 "But what ... is it good for?" --Engineer at the Advanced Computing Systems Division of IBM, 1968, commenting on the microchip. 1. Avernum, but Geneforge 1 was better than all of them(in my opinion). Having not played Geneforge 4 I cannot have an opinion on that. 2. Geneforge will have a brighter future because many younger people play it. And the hack and slash seems to go down well with them. 3. I started when Geneforge 1 was realeased and worked my way back into Avernum. 4. I play it on PC. -------------------- "640K ought to be enough for anybody." -- Bill Gates, 1981 "But what ... is it good for?" --Engineer at the Advanced Computing Systems Division of IBM, 1968, commenting on the microchip. I think that is only if you are loyal to the shapers. Well they are pure creations. In GF3 on the loding screen, it has a picture of a drayk that says "base material fyora". They are a highly modified fyora, but I suspect the idea of a fyora was based on a living creature. The Drakons or modified drayks are technically banned. Some shapers have just no respect for the law. I have no idea if the following is correct; I think when you go into the new area you have so many creations, they push you back into your old area and the game just can't handle it. -------------------- "640K ought to be enough for anybody." -- Bill Gates, 1981 "But what ... is it good for?" --Engineer at the Advanced Computing Systems Division of IBM, 1968, commenting on the microchip. quote:Sure, save the rainforests, but poison humanity along the way. When you treat what you eat with 13 syllable chemical compounds, I doubt it is good for you. With conventional farming you have runoff from the herbicides and pesticides you used, so you are not really saving the enviorment. My solution is every thing needs to be grown in Alaska in the Northern Summer (to take advantage of the 23 hour day) and the surplus crop will be spread out along the rest of the year. We also need to eat what we buy. Go downtown, anytown. Look in a dumpster. If we actually ate all that food, there would be less land needed for agricultural purposes and we could save the rainforest. I remember rotogroths were horrible. The most they could hit was 70 damage a punch, maybe 130 with QA. I didn't like the drakons, but I had low fire shaping. The gazers I loved. They could hit over 200 damage a shot and 3 of them hasted could take out anything in the game.
