Every large network I have seen that uses Apple computers works with very few errors when using applications. File sharing and drive clusters work, and the administrators do not need to employ crazy lockdown programs and disable everything to secure the network.

With lots of security modifications, a physcial and software based firewall, updated anti-virus programs, and many features of Windows disabled, a Microsoft network can usually function without becoming infected by viruses or destroyed. But then again, everything will cause error messages about permissions and everything runs so slowly.

The network at my school works fine, and it is not slow at all. If you don't apply patches that fix security holes or keep an antivirus program updated, you have no grounds to complain when someone exploits those holes or you get a virus.

Furthermore, crazy lockdown programs are usually put into place by school administrators who know nothing about computers and are scared that students will destroy the computers instantly if not forbidden from doing 95% of things on them.

Where I go to school, the only things "locked down" on the computers, PC and Mac, are blatantly destructive uses.

You can? I've never, ever seen one, oddly enough.

EDIT : This is also coming from someone who goes to a tech college where over 30% of the computers are Macs and a significant percentage of the population uses Macs as well.

If the whole world converted to Mac, there'd be plenty of virii and spyware for Macs.

That and I hate them. How do you work without a scroll mouse?! ._.

I personally don't feel that it's obscene or pornographic at all. If I get complaints, I might transform the pictures into links.

...however, what I do feel is an intense sorrow for the people lying naked in the snow in the first picture, though. :P

Subterra is also the only one of the third-party games to have gained a following at these boards - probably by being by far the best out of them.

If the line is a link of some sort, it means that you're infected with spyware. Do a Google search for the programs AdAware and Spybot - Search and Destroy, download them, update them, and run them. They should get rid of that problem.

You can also dump stuff off in the Slith city, but obviously not stuff gained from destroying the Slith city. Then again, you're already past that.

And again, you can't dump stuff gained from killing Morog's Castle off in Morog's Castle. Ah well.

Have you never spoken to Dragyn Bob on AIM? Barring when he talks in all capital letters, he enjoys talking in complete sentences with correct capitalization and punctuation. It makes him more creepy. ^^

I played Exile 1 and 2 and didn't like them that much.

I then played Blades of Exile and joined the community in around '98 or '99.

Far sight reveals secret doors? This is untrue. Bumping into walls where you think secret doors are is how one reveals secret doors.

You should proceed to the Major Waste Repository (it's in the underground cavern area), make it to the center of the area, and dispose of the waste for good.

This is a little bit of a return to the old topic here, but my frustration with "goodbye" threads mostly stems from ones which read I HATE ALL OF YOU SO I AM LEAVING FOR EVER AND EVER GOOD BY.

I just sorta figure no one actually looks at profiles most of the time.

I'm sorry for your misunderstanding. I was not intending to harass you, belittle you, humiliate you, threaten you, or cause you embarassment in any way. I was merely encouraging a course of action which I find would be to both of our benefit.

Well, then you can throw yourself from a high place to a low place and cause yourself mortal injury by doing so.

Homeland was made by Dragonlore and sucked immensely.

I suppose the first time that Drakey takes note of the Avatar of (the Shadowlords') Virtue(s), Drakey will assign him his custom title.
