I love ridiculously long instumentals. I can appreciate its simplicity. Have you ever listened to Mortiis? His old stuff is similar, though a bit more medieval. -------------------- You lose. Posts: 2156 | Registered: Thursday, August 24 2006 07:00 |

An interesting note, the first version of that image I posted insulted Bush in the url, the autocensor caught it, and it broke the link thus making the picture not show up. Funny. -------------------- You lose. Posts: 2156 | Registered: Thursday, August 24 2006 07:00 |

The point is that the Germans already beat both China and the United States to the moon. Hitler is still living there in his Secret Nazi Moon Base to this day. -------------------- You lose. Posts: 2156 | Registered: Thursday, August 24 2006 07:00 |

quote:It will never be cost effective to send either resources or people between other worlds and earth. Why do you think we don't even dump all our toxic waste into space? Nothing short of the total annihilation of the the planet itself (as in by Death Star) will make colonization of other worlds worthwile. -------------------- You lose. I'm with Alorael on this one. My friends are too busy not appreciating RPGs in general to even notice the bad graphics. Most of them are into old nintendo emulators, too, so that surely factors in as well. -------------------- You lose. Posts: 2156 | Registered: Thursday, August 24 2006 07:00 |

I believe the space program is a huge waste of time. I say if China wants to make themselves feel big by beating us at something, this would be one instance where I would just let them have it. I'd much rather beat them to discovering an alternative to oil, which is something they will surely want in the decades to come. -------------------- You lose. Whether you start as one or not, I think being able to play as a villain would be a huge step for Spiderweb in general. One of the things that made Fallout and Knight of the Old Republic great was the fact that you could play the game as a total scumbag, screwing over good, often innocent people that you would normally be helping. It was awesome. -------------------- You lose. Posts: 2156 | Registered: Thursday, August 24 2006 07:00 |

quote:Actually, I was going to make those the Wertel Mountains from one of Lenar's posts. I could put the foothills near the tip of the penninsula, that way the valley would, appropriatly, be in between the two. Sound good? Edit: Oh, and I'll take Joth off the map. Sorry for the confusion, Ephesos. [ Saturday, May 12, 2007 07:29: Message edited by: Emperor Tullegolar ] -------------------- You lose. Posts: 2156 | Registered: Thursday, August 24 2006 07:00 |

I disagree with Goldenking. All he did was take out that special Iffy touch and make it into a boring adventurer story. We have enough of those. Iffy's style makes it unique and funny, if only because it's so hilariously bad. The commander saying 'sup' is priceless. I seem to remember some old BoE scenarios that had a similar syle to them. Starting point betting odds: Adventurer: 3-2 Explorers: 2-1 Imperial Soldier: 3-1 Brigand: 5-1 Darkside Loyalist: 10-1 Anama: 30-1 Chitrach: 9,000-1 Vahnatai: 500,000-1 Yes, you are more likely to start as a chitrach than a vahnatai. And yes, even though Jeff said you would not be adventurers, they still have the smallest pay-off. I'd be happy to add more if you have suggestions. I'm banking on brigands. -------------------- You lose. Posts: 2156 | Registered: Thursday, August 24 2006 07:00 |

Here's a map. If there is a problem, it's actually easier for me to edit than it looks. The land in the middle with the mountains is a sort of unclaimed neutral buffer zone. It is too difficult to live in for any government to form there. I figured Ephesos would appreciate Joth's ruins being located there. Mannik is in Keldagrim, hope no one minds. Keldagrim's government must be pretty ineffective for one of their cities to be conquored like that. The Western States and those islands are all up for grabs, though I figure they are too far away for anyone to visit at this point. Oh, well, they're still there for flavor. But Tullegolar, what's with the massive Golden Republic thing? Well, I did say in one of my first posts that the Kalazar Empire was not the strongest nation there was. So, I made sure to include at least one stronger one. The only place I didn't put anywhere yet was Nioca's tribe. Where do they live? -------------------- You lose.
