Shining Force 1 and 2, for SEGA Genesis. The plots aren't particularly deep and full of philosophy (they're "kill the evil guy" games), but they're still fun and the battles require good strategy. I've also played Shining In The Darkness, its predecessor, and Shining Force 3, but SITD is literally a big labyrinth, and SF3 is for SEGA Saturn and only 1/3 translated into English (although the third that is is awesome and has much better battles than SF1+2). It really does depend on the hospital you're in though. The one I was in wasn't bad at all. The staff never talked down to us or anything like that. They would only restrain you when you were actually becoming violent. But I may have been in an exception. Scales, hopitalization and medication are the only way they're going to get better. If you can get them into a good hospital, they can force them to take antipsychotics or whatever it is they need. The antipsychotics will help with the paranoia, delusions, and hallucinations, but they have strong (but generally non-dangerous) side effects, such as making them feel weak and tired. Once they start taking the medicine, they'll hopefully start to think and behave more normally. So how do you force them into a hospital? Ask the hospital. I have no idea. I have Asperger's Syndrome, which is on the high-functioning end of the autism spectrum. From what my psychologists have told me, a person with Asperger's may exhibit symptoms of ADHD, OCD, and bipolar, among other things. I've been hospitalized once for threatening suicide, I get hyperactive when my medication wears off, and I have a rather bad temper. I THOUGHT OF THE BOOK THING FIRST! CURSE YOU, CREATOR, FOR BEING MUCH, MUCH FASTER THAN ME! Ahem... Anyway, The Creator was the first to release a scenario with readable books. Simply give each book a different special class, and create a node chain checking for each special class sequentially. When it finds an item in the player's inventory that has that special class, have it display the text of the book or description or summary of what it says or whatever. Implementing readable books sucks nodes if you have too many books though. Same here. Sometimes images, sometimes words, sometimes both. I can imagine with my eyes open too. It's not like you see it the way you see things with your eyes though. You see an image with your mind, but it is an image. It's hard to explain. Also, sometimes (I've been having trouble doing this lately, but I did it a lot when I was younger) I can imagine something being in a place I am seeing with my eyes. Not a hallucination, but it's imagined onto a location. It mostly applies to poor African and Asian countries, where the majority of families are very large, and unnecessarily so, because they don't realize that having twelve children insures continued poverty. They are still operating in poor farmer mode, even though most of them are not poor farmers. They also have many children because it makes it more likely that some will survive, at least according to rodents. It's actually not true, because having fewer children means better health care and more food to go around. However, this is not so much because of genetic stupidity, as much as it is because of a lack of education. In conclusion, while it is true that it's generally stupid to have twelve children, Alec is essentially engaging in intellectual masturbation. EDIT: Stug posted while I was posting, so we essentially said the same thing, the only difference being that I dissed Alec and will most likely draw flames. I wear my normal clothes and the top hat. The top hat always falls off though. Darixen agreed, and they walked to a nearby stand of trees to rest. Tados sat down, pulled out the squirrel and his dagger, and sliced the squirrel open. He then began pulling out its innards, much to the disgust and confusion of those nearby. He intended to get the squirrel stuffed by a taxidermist, and make the squirrel hold the golden skull he found. After he finished, he wrapped the hide back up in the cloth and replaced it in his pack. After the others expressed their disgust at his leaving the pile of innards on the ground, he put them in a bag, which went into his pack. He pulled out the skull again, and admired it. He rubbed it, and it began to glow and become very cold. Suddenly, golden bones sprouted from it, forming a whole minature skeleton. It walked around, danced, picked up and threw small rocks, and other amusing things. After about thirty minutes, it walked back to Tados, and the bones receded, leaving the skull looking much like it had before.
