Do you really want to trust the same people who run a screwed up health care system to be poking around in your organs?

Doctors really aren't usually the ones running health care. That honor falls to politicians.

—Alorael, who doesn't know if you feel comfortable with doctors poking around in your organs. He personally doesn't, but that's because he finds organ poking inherently uncomfortable. If someone has to do it, he'd rather it were a doctor.

It was meant figuratively not literally. Bureaucrats and politicians have a way of taking a problem and making it worse.

While they wouldn't be possible for a lone shaper to make it might be possible to seize control of one in a similar manner when you face down the prototype at ghaldaring hq. However this wouldn't be easy and I sincerly doubt game mechanics will let you walk around with a barney.

for the first one:Their is an old saying get a room. A motel or something I believe public decency laws go into effect or something.

As far as a police officer sitting in a bathroom waiting to be solicited for gay sex it sounds like similar operations where a female cop will pretend to be a hooker to catch those guys who solicited female hookers for sex.

I'm willing to be open to the idea of gay marriages being legal however it shouldn't be an excuse to disobey public decency laws. I'm also willing to accept these kinds of incendents are about even among homosexuals and heterosexuals.

I made a post in it I don't remember that vampire demons name but it was created by Seoth and therefore a product of Nayld and not me I was simply using it to show that without useing the sword that Vertan is as an average joe as a demon can get.

"Makroangkeen is defiantly a very powerful god who has been corrupted by something unknown, regardless it is reputed that he keeps work on something called the god slayer or anti god. At first the gods assumed this was the demons but that translated to "defier of gods" this translated to "Slayer of gods" What ever this was, we are fortunate it will never be, with Makroankeen banished and Geltor and the remains of his army on the run, it will never get finished"- last tatter page from the book History of the Demon Wars, made shorty after the banishment of Makroangkeen
In Kirkwood a rune on the ground pulsed violently a few people in the area dropped dead as if their life force had been drained from them. A coupe of water sprites jumped out of a well and went wreck everything they could get a hold of. It was as if something was trying to break free. Then as suddenly as it started pulsing it stopped and the sprites became puddles. What ever the rune sealed it was able to hold at least for now.

On the road with Vertan, the fog had cleared to reveal several vampires one which looked extremly old and part demon. The mob was not prepared for such a fight at night, in a land not accustom to vampires, and the rapidly disintegrated. The vampires surrounded Vertan who was ferociously pulling on his sword trying to unsheathe it as the old one approached him.
Old demon vampire "Give me the sword and you will know mercy, Don't and you shall not"
Vertan " The god slayer was meant for and I shall not give it up"
Old demon Vampire "Coming from someone who can't unsheath it" With that she jumped at him with surprising speed. Soon Vertan was pinned to the ground with his sword laying 3 feet away from him. As the old demon vampire reached down to pick up the sword, the sun rose over a hill instanly vaproizeing all but the ancnceint vampire demon who was running for cover. She barley made it alive. When Vertan gets to feet he see his sword is missing with a pair of child's feet leading to a nearby village.

Please re-read this sentence until you can tell me why it's so silly.

I'll admit I wrote it on a bit to little sleep, but I like to see you engineer something and then idiot proof it. Science and technolgy are excellent tools to improve society but like all tools are only as good as the people weilding them.

No one thing can solve the worlds problems. Their is no formula, person, pill, invention, or hero that will come and save the day. The only thing that can save the world is if society brings its focus to saving world instead of blissfully hoping someone else will.

Hmm, to claim that a thing is impossible is to claim to have proven a negative, is it not? Are you confident you can make the claim that you have proof that it is impossible that there is a spiritual dimension to being human? Because you're talking again like everything you believe must be fact...by what virtue, I wonder? Because you believe it, and therefore it must be correct? Please demonstrate how you have proof of a negative.

-S-

Generally scientist and like minded people require you prove your arguments. Unless you have sufficient proof they won't believe you. For example I could claim little gremlins caused the big bang and no one could prove me wrong. This doesn't mean anyone believe because I would lack proof.

Are all souls equal? I'm thinking a person might have a one soul thats worth 3 and have 3 thats only worth 1 and 2 two normal size. So in theory someone could have 5 billion souls and it still be the same has only having 7. One thing you could consider as far as soul stealing is if someone does it upon another persons death. Also one thing we need to consider is what mechanics keep someone from stealing from the flow, what happens if someone tries, and what steps a really evil guy would go through just to over come those steps and become a bastardize version of a god/demigod

One thing you have to keep in mind is that the Shaper empire is very old. It at least a millennium old (I think more around 2). There so old that they don't remember how they begun. Any empire that is that old is bound to have elements of corruption. The fact that it has a little corruption as it does after all this time is impressive.

But it doesn't hurt, or even really weaken that case, to admit that medical science is still in its early infancy. We really know very little about how human biochemistry works. And we know almost nothing at all about how neurochemistry works to produce psychological phenomena. We're about as far from having a really scientific psychiatry as those ancient Greeks and Chinese, with their static-charged amber and hunks of magnetized iron, were from building laptop computers.

Or maybe further; who knows? I'm optimistic that the pace of scientific research has accelerated so much since then, that significant progress may come over decades rather than centuries. But there is clearly a long way to go yet.

Have you taken a look at the field of Nano systems engineering? Its just starting to get off the ground and once it had been applied to Biomed engineering their is no telling were we can go.
Here is a video I can find off hand Nano technology when applied to medicine
I'll admit a lot of it is conceptual but its some pretty neat stuff.

Safey, personally I'd like to see you play a non-magic character at some point in the future. Even better, a non-magic good-aligned character. Just food for thought.

But thats what real life is for.... On serious note I might give it a shot eventually.

If you want to create something with free will you have to give it the ability to do something you don't want it too. If what you created can't ever do anything that you don't want then it can never do anything contrary to your own will thus its will is slave to your own. My explanation for myself as to why god can let all these horrible(murder, rape, stealing, ect) things happen is that its apart of allowing us to have free will. People have the free will to choose to do bad things. Otherwise we would be little more then sophisticated robots.
