If the climate change is outside our ability too stop wouldn't it be better to prepare for said climate change? Climate has changed in the past without human involvement why is it so hard to believe that we are not the key component climate change?

I had a boxer until couple years back. He name was Buster. He was about 13 and died from an age related heart attack. Very friendly and very protective. Would bark at me and my dad when we roughhoused. In his latter years he became house trained and would wake me up at 5 in the morning so I take him outside to do his business. Never got him neutered.

I agree with you on the co2 production . However what a bout other impacts like deforestation ect. Or other things like putting levees on a river. That prevents from depositing its sediment and contributes to coastal erosion. Take a look at the US state Louisiana. Ever since we put levees on the river out marshlands started giving way into the gulf.

I like a stalemate thing. with a twist. Something has been discovered the first one to utilize it to its full degree wins. Your character somehow manage to get in on it.

I would like the shaper ending. How it would go is the rebels and shapers found a lot of new land(not sholi) which both are in a race to colonize the new lands. The lands are crucial for 2 reasons. One the shapers can use the lands as a stageing point to attack the Ashen isles since they are closer and the water between the ashen islands and the new lands aren't as rough. You start off shaper who was in school but was pulled out to help with the war effort. If you choose to join the rebels you move slowly up through the ranks till you push the shapers out of the new lands. Once you do that you do that head to the ashen islands were you are tested and eventually give the rank of general with an army to match. You then launch a campaign on the shapers which destroys the high council and in the ends crushes the shapers. If you choose to remain loyal to the shapers it pretty much remains the same execpt you sever the shapers. You move through the ranks till you successfully gain the lands the shaper needs. Then you head to the high counsel you are tested and given the rank of general and you then launch an assault to retake the ashen islands. the only thing is th is world would be much larger then any
other Geneforge world.

I think the G5 should involve using some uberpowerful Genefore.Like the one in G1 not the pathetic wannabes of G2-4. It should end the way it started(at least it some ways). This game should end the saga. Either the Shapers crushing the rebellion for ever and making another rebellion unlikely in all but the most distance future. The Rebellion human side were the shapers are crush and a fair balanced goverment is setup. Rebellion Drakon side drakon are in charge suckers. Then of course the trakovites. Lastly we should have some type of faction that is powerhungry.

I like to the wild shaping Idea as well. Although I prefer making a creation moving it else were then releasing it. Where it will attack anything. so make a eyebeast move it to an safe distance release it recharge essences repeat. Then make a battle beta put a huge amount of endurance into and buff. Get all the eye beast/other rouges you made. Chasing it to the uber powerful enemy you want to fight. Wait a minute or 2 and come in and mop everything up

The god vertan overheard about may or may not be Harath. it all depends on how Dikiyoba responds to my pm.

nvm dikiyoba said nay I'll have vertan. So I won't develop anything on any of those hints in my ic post.

In the moderate sized town of Higlary, roughly 4 days walk(for your average joe) north of Kirwood,Vertan was sitting in a pub, frequented by travelers of all sorts. He figured that he be more likely to come across a rumor that he found interesting.
Vertan overheard one conversation "I'm headed up north some noble is hiring mercs, from what I heard he worried that major shift in his local politics might end up bad for him." Bartender "That goes along with the storied I have heard about some new up start god in north, something about orthodoxy or order. Name was caratn or sarath or something like that. Anyways hear not all the people are happy with him..." The bartender was interrupted as Vertan rushed out of the bar.
-------------------------------------------------
Coutal had left kirwood. He was head south with about 12 other demons to southern jungles. Geltor has send shades their to try and recurite some of the demon worshiping tribes. He new Geltor had some success with them but never had the opportunity to exploit him. Since their defeat at Kirwood. He figured this was the best option. He wasn't sure how many demons survived. He knew only one of the other demon assassins survived. How many demons that demon assassin had behind was a mystery. It was no big concern though since he was fairly certain that their plans would not interfere with each other. His major concern was keeping the loyalty of those demons who followed him. The only reason they followed him was because they felt that following them would sever their best interests, mainly surviving .

Do people need gods? No people existed long before the gods. It be clooser too the truth to say that the gods need people. Don't a wide majority rely on followers for a power base? If anything the Golden Republic has shown that men can do very well with out gods. -Some random philosopher executed for heresy roughly 60 years ago
-------------------------------------------------
Vertan was a good two days walk, for a regular man, away from Kirkwood before he eventually had to rest. The stream of refugees, the gods concentrating on Kirkwood because of the demons there, and the fact he still looked very human made it unlikely he be spotted.

Vertan took out the sword and the sheath it came in. He tried pulling it out to examine it but it wouldn't come out. Why can't I unsheathe it? I was able to in the pantheon.

After a few more tries he finally gives up and slings it back on his back. He also pondered about what to do next. First he thought of going to the Golden Rebulic but decided against it because it e unlikely that even they would except a demon and it wouldn't be fair to drag them into a war. No to do what he needed to do he need to find a god who is unpopular and either new or recently relocated. He be mostly likely to find this in the nations that border the wilder areas of the world.

I am a christian and as a christian I will hold my self to the certain rules I believe a Christian should follow. However as a Christian I believe it completely unreasonable to expect non Christians to hold christian values. As Chrisians we should be more concerned about the preaching of our faith then political games.

because our civilization will probably be long dead by the time they receive the message. We are pretty sure most of the nearby star are not likely to have life that could threaten us. By the time our message reaches a world inhabited by intelligent life, human civilization will probably have collapsed and rebuilt it self several times over. You also have to consider the logistics of fighting a war over hundreds if not thousands of light years. Assuming that the radio signals are powerful enough to travel thousands of light years and penetrate the powerful electromagnet field of a star and still have an intelligible message.

Geltor seeing his oppent Avin moveing towards launch himself at him bring his twin swords to bear. Avin in hast blast Geltor with his half-prepared spell but it merely splashes off of Geltor. Avin braces at the last minute and when Geltor's and Avin's swords clash it force of Geltor's launch pushes Avin back several feet his feet diging into the ground. Avin then breaks the standoff by jumping back and hitting him with a much better prepared and more powrful spell. Blasting Geltor through a building turning the building to rubble. Geltor stood up not showing any sign of injury. Avins face grew pale; this was going to be harder then he thought. Geltor hurled a spell at Avin who deflects it useing his sword. The spell smashes into some buildings. Geltor took the time Avin used deflecting the spell to advance on Avin and now both were engage in a wild melee one which Avin is slowly losesing ground. Geltor then brings is sword's down upon Avin's head. Avin raised his blade to parry to block it. His sword snapped under the strain and the Geltor's swords hits him lacerating his arm and his belly. Avin falls back expecting to die except he saw Geltor ripping a fragment of his sword out of his belly. The tendicals on energy in his belly and on h is hand ate much of energy up. Avin manages to get up. Geltor being enrage summons out fire a ball of energy and lighting. The same one that forge Makroangkeen's prison. Geltor takes it and hurles it at Avin. Avin is blasted through several buildings before the energy dispaited. He had several cracked ribs, burns, lacerations, and a broken arm. Avin manages to sit up with his back next a wall. Geltor telports to Avin's postion and Avin is vaguely aware of whats going around him. Minko then comes from behind a corner and mutters a few words. Then a large rune beneath Geltor previously invsible lit up and start to draw Geltor into its grasp. Geltor laughs and graps Minko by the throat. Geltor " You think I didn't plan on this?" He then throws her to the side Minko being weakend by makeing the trap was no match for Geltor. Geltor turn back at Avin and grabs him. Start to drain Avin of his life force. Avin regains awarness senses the trap failing pours the last bits of his energy into the trap and in a blinding flash of light Geltor was now sealed behind a rune. His water sprites dispaited. His fight over Avin losses consense. However the with was not over with James dead his army was in retreat against the hoard of demons.

their is a huge grey area when it comes to this matter. Just keep your grades decent and occsainly do something else (at least in my case) your parnets may frown upon it but should tolerate it.

I saw it in the news a couple days back and thought it to be silly. I told my dad about it, who frowns upon me playing video games as much as his does, (to his credit he tolerates though), Thought it was silly as well.
