My impression is that as of using the Geneforge, you have not yet fully mastered the new powers. In the ending, your anger from being arrested unleashes their full extent.

Starting Charcoal in General

Can't say I've ever had trouble with that. I lay out the coals (nothing special, just regular charcoal) in a pryamid like formation, drench them in lighter fluid, let it soak for a minute or so and light them. I usually just start it with one of those conventional grill lighters you buy at the grocery store.

After that, wait for the flames to die out and then place the meat on the grill. Place the cover on to help maintain heat, but make sure the holes are open so the coals can get enough oxygen.

If you have trouble, the most likely candidate would be the charcoal itself. Make sure it's stored in a cool, dry place. Excessive moisture is not good for it. Otherwise, try purchasing your charcoal from a different store as it is not inconceivable that the place you bought it from does not handle it appropriately.

Have fun and don't burn down the world!

According to my records he is. He just rarely uses the power, but if necessary he can.

This topic does DEFINITELY NOT BELONG in Tech Support. We only service Spiderweb Software products there. Be that Win2000 is not such a product, it does not belong there.

Really? I never would have thought a level 39 character would have so little trouble. :P

The scenario list at Spiderweb Software is a bit outdated, but I'd imagine it would update as new scenarios are submitted. Otherwise, consult the CSR at the Lyceum. It has the most comprehensive list; duplicating it here would be unnecessary.

Geneforge series board traffic: no long tail? in Geneforge Series

Activity usually wanes as we get further away from a release. These boards see a boost in traffic on all forums after said event. I predict with the release of Geneforge 4, this forum will become abuzz with activity once more as new players discover the older games.

My guess is that it's the raw spell level in terms of what you buy in the store.

Come on! He didn't come from a physciatric institution or something like that. Dangerous seems to me a rather unfair and idiotic exageration.

What makes him so dangerous then (Unstable he maybe is, but dangerous? meh)?
I'd refrain from calling me idiotic. I think my assessment is perfectly fair. He sends out one e-mail and is completely pleasant, I reply with what he did wrong and 15 minutes later I get an e-mail where he is swearing at me. I respond and now he's giving me a sob story. Stable people don't have violent emotional swings over simple matters.

He also has a hibit of fabricating things or denying things happened even when I have records to the contrary. I would answer a question and he would respond asking the same question. I'd call his mood swings and his selective forgetfulness pretty unstable.

Anyone who threatens to send out virus and keystroke recorders (he told someone whom I trust this who then relayed it to me) for malevolent purposes is not someone I want to deal with. He has violent mood swings, fits of rage, and brags about how he's going to get even with people. That I would classify as dangerous.

That's why the boards exist. Ask questions, beat it, and write the walkthough if you are so inclined.

It's generally encouraged to just use the edit feature rather than double post. This is to prevent people from spamming too much. From now on please do that, thanks. :)

Walkthoughs are created by those interested on a scenario by scenario basis. Sometimes a designer will choose to create his/her own walkthrough. If you would like to make some, I'm sure future players would be grateful.

Killing the regular Nephil do no good, they respawn. You need to kill the Haunted Nephil five times.
