1) Ed was a member who is rather unstable and dangerous. He was banned for flooding the forums and flaming. He has tendencies to stalk members on IM programs and has made several attempts to hack the boards. These efforts include plotting to send out keystroke recorders to members to hijack accounts. He also has a habit of sending me a lot of vulgar e-mails asking to be reinstated.

2) How we determine/verify the true identity of members varies on a case by case basis and is not necessary to discuss. Doing so would help people evade bans. If you don't know, you probably don't need to know.

Would it kill them to initiate military action in self-defense only when they're actually defending themselves? All this looks like to me is revenge, one in a long chain of reprisals between two opposing sides.
I'll play devil's advocate here: Suppose Hezbollah continued to kidnap/execute soldiers with some regularity. At what point do you draw the line between an actual attack requiring response versus an isolated skirmish? In other words, what is the appropriate response to make them stop?

That's always a dangerous thing to speculate. The more talked about scenarios are by their designers, in my experience, the less likely they are to be finished.

Simple consultation of the scripts informs us that the answer is negative.

Perhaps it is not too late for ideas, just unlikely to be implemented at this juncture. Also, the idea you have is hardly original.

Additionally, you don't need to hit enter at the end of every line. Use the word wrap feature please, it keeps the topics shorter.

Please write in complete sentences. Ellipses use three periods, by the way...

Jeff has already said the Vahnatai will never be a playable race. Also, it is highly unlikely another playable race will be implemented in Avernum. In all seriousness, I doubt it would add that much anyway other than a new, neat option.

Seems unnecessary and hokey when you can just have it in your inventory. Keep it as simple as possible.

Either way, it's minor and has little effect on the game itself. For the most part, A4 is pretty easy if you use decent tactics.

I think he means your creations.

Personally I prefer the simple solution of having only the stuff you are wearing (or in your quick use slots) count against you. This way you can still carry loot, but not be horribly weighed down. Of course, you still have a limited number of item slots, but you need limits somewhere.

Attacking order is decided by a few factors. These are dexterity, quick strike, fast on feet skill, and encumberance. It's likely you have a few PCs that are relatively close in their "speed" score and by training or adding armor you have shifted one in favor of the other.

Actually, the full title is He-Man and the Masters of the Universe. If you had any part of your childhood memories in the 1980s and grew up in the US, you would likely remember it.

Did you use shockwave? That could make her uppity as well. I believe if you go to four other towns things will reset.

The hintbook would still cost money, I'd imagine, just less. However, it would be a lot more difficult to keep from distributing from a practical sense. That said, once the hintbook is assembled, electrons are cheap and it's all profit.

Besides, there are walkthroughs, FAQs, and these message boards out there to help people anyway.

Exactly. I suppose the one drawback is that it would be easy to distribute and hence no one would need to pay for it if you knew the right people. Nonetheless, just having it in PDF would mean that it would be very cheap, so no real money lost anyway.

Pretty much. The order form should have a blank for it. Seriously, I don't know why Jeff sends it in paper form these days; a pdf would probably suffice and be cheaper.

At any rate, this is probably more of General question than anything else.
