1) Look behind pillars. 2) Monsters get more HP and might do more damage. 3) Use stealth, avoid the battle alphas, sneak to the center, trigger the mines on the timer and run. 4) You should be able to kill both of them with enough skill. 5) Yes. 6) Canister use (I forget the exact number) will make you fight several encounters you would otherwise not. It also affects your ending, but you can still join any side. 7) I think only once, but would need to check. 8) Probably. I tend to play this route, but still use some combat. -------------------- Your flower power is no match for my glower power! Posts: 3726 | Registered: Tuesday, September 18 2001 07:00 |

Gotta love, UBB...I remove the private nature of the forum and it deletes all of the topics. All right, well, I can't get it back. I can do the next best thing. If you want to view scores and comments, send me an e-mail or PM and I can send you the password to the e-mail account. Hopefully me or someone else can get them up on a public place in time. Some enterprising individual can take the comments out of there. [ Wednesday, January 10, 2007 16:44: Message edited by: *i ] -------------------- Your flower power is no match for my glower power! Typically zones refer to outdoor sections plus towns. I think no more than 10 editor towns is more appropriate here. -------------------- Your flower power is no match for my glower power! Posts: 3726 | Registered: Tuesday, September 18 2001 07:00 |

Other entries implies that those scenarios did not advance to the final round and were not ranked as such. I think most people agree that WtRM is a great effort, but still lacking the polish of the finalists. I agree, Kel's scenario probably should have ranked higher due to sheer effort alone. The judges were asked to rank scenarios on how much they enjoyed them. This is where Exodus fell, the judges (myself included) did not have a good time playing it. Some were outright offended by certain parts. Granted, the 8 judges may have been totally unique and a special section of the community. However, when all of them rated it poorly, it becomes implausible to think that this be the case. This indicates a fundamental problem with the scenario itself. While an impressive effort, it fails the test of audience enjoyment. I will say that I've been there ala Spy's Quest. In fact, Exodus and Spy's Quest have a lot in common. Granted Exodus is a lot better in terms of quality, it does suffer from the same Spy's Quest Syndrome -- all technical wizardry and little fun. However, in this we hopefully learn something. Mistakes are even more valuable than successes. -------------------- Your flower power is no match for my glower power! Posts: 3726 | Registered: Tuesday, September 18 2001 07:00 |

quote:Just because they can (although there is some debate on this) does not mean they want to. Personally, having Gazers be a bit more solitary and mysterious is good for their species, setting them apart. Just making them more like Drakons would detract in my mind. -------------------- Your flower power is no match for my glower power! Posts: 3726 | Registered: Tuesday, September 18 2001 07:00 |

Sounds like a bug. Should probably e-mail Jeff about energy resistance blocking acid. He probably used a wrong variable somewhere. -------------------- Your flower power is no match for my glower power! Posts: 3726 | Registered: Tuesday, September 18 2001 07:00 |

I see nothing wrong with this conversation. Jeff openly discusses his family on the Spiderweb Software website. So far nothing out of bounds has been said here. -------------------- Your flower power is no match for my glower power! Posts: 3726 | Registered: Tuesday, September 18 2001 07:00 |

If it's from Mac to Mac (from older to Intel Mac may not work) and PC to PC and the OS is not too different, it should be possible. Going from Mac to PC does not work much at all. If you provide more details, we may be able to tell you more. -------------------- Your flower power is no match for my glower power! Posts: 3726 | Registered: Tuesday, September 18 2001 07:00 |

Good luck. We already have the Lyceum as a secondary Spiderweb site. It's more focused on the Blades design communities, but I'm sure if you had a GF 4 question, people there can answer it. -------------------- Your flower power is no match for my glower power! They are indeed named named after the same person. One of them tells you his story that is very similar to the Trajkov from GF 1. Of course, over time history has been distorted and changed by inaccurate accounts. Basically, the Trakovites are following a myth, a fictional account of a man long dead. -------------------- Your flower power is no match for my glower power! Yes, it is possible to do this, but would require a lot of work. Also, if it would be too visible, it would detract quite a bit. -------------------- Your flower power is no match for my glower power! Posts: 3726 | Registered: Tuesday, September 18 2001 07:00 |

One of the few substantial good things that came out of this whole Iraq War thing. Unfortunately, it will not change a whole lot about our current situation other than a brief spike in violence. 1) It's MUCH less potent. 2) See above. 3) See above. 4) Yes. 5) I wouldn't call Northforge poorly defended. It's main defense was its secrecy. However, the citadel still had a decent amount, it did turn back two Shaper raids. Just remember that there are probably more things there than you can actually see in the game. -------------------- Your flower power is no match for my glower power! You need to take the long way around. Once you enter going west, you have to loop around and return from the east. If you are already there, there should be a lever nearby to pull. If all else fails, hit shift-d and type 'exitzone'. -------------------- Your flower power is no match for my glower power! Posts: 3726 | Registered: Tuesday, September 18 2001 07:00 |
