Dumb question but where are the Trakovites located?

They don't have a base. If you've met Drewry, Shorass and Khyryk already, then you've heard about everything the Trakovites have to say.

There's a dead one in the Eastern Barrier Zone that left a diary. Both sides are hunting them down as fast as possible.

Forgot Nakel in the Northern Fens that you can be hired to kill.

Trakov was a soali a man that had landed on sucia island he stole the secrets from the shapers now he payed it with his life. Soalies were good boat makers travelers and traders they didn't have any shaping magic.
Probably his name was idealized by rebells to show how shaping is wrong. Or i could be wrong am i ?

Trakov was a shoali who landed on Sucia Isle and used the ill-gotten power of the canisters to rule over the island (in a way) as a brutal tyrant. He "kidnapped" a young shaper (the player in GF1) to try and learn the secrets of the shapers.Hardly a fitting matyr for the Trakovites

Trajkov was the leader of the Sholai from Geneforge 1. His story has been passed down and no doubt changed many times, along with his name, in order to become a legendary character in the Shaper world.

The longer the war drags on, the more Trajkov starts to seem like he would have been the least of all possible evils. At least he was capable of a decisive victory. All the more ironic, then, that the Trakovites want the war to continue.

The Trakovites are not named after Trajkov, right? I didn't see a single reference to the guy in Geneforge 4. Plus the fact that the two have nothing in common whatsoever. I wonder why Jeff decided to make them sound so similar.

I think they just knew him by a different name..... Trakov or something. Drewry told his "story" to the PC if you smashed the canister he told you to.

They are indeed named named after the same person. One of them tells you his story that is very similar to the Trajkov from GF 1. Of course, over time history has been distorted and changed by inaccurate accounts. Basically, the Trakovites are following a myth, a fictional account of a man long dead.

Ahaha, stupid Trakovites. I'm only sorry that Trajkov has to have his name forever linked to these losers. He was a great man.

Goatchesse/Goat's Cheese...

You tell ME the difference.

Anyway - what is the Trakovite agenda? I'd assume they were linked to the Rebels, but clearly this isn't the case.

The Trakovites are willing to have a transition period to allow for people to adapt to the future world. Also all existing creations that reproduce will get to exist. So I suppose the rotgroths don't make the cut.

The creations that can reproduce are:

Ornks
Serviles
Thorn Bushes
Battle Alphas (the latest design* can reproduce for some odd reason)
Battle Betas (see above)

*The 92nd Genertation 22nd design to be precise

Drayks can reproduce. I'm pretty sure that Clawbugs can too.

This is iffy but in G1 there is an area of "old rogues" which we assume that they are the decendents and not 200+ year old ones. They are all vlish. So that leads to the question of how do vlish reproduce?

Drayks were Barred for a reason - they were too smart and could reproduce. Also, look at all of the Drayks in GF 2-4 ... I don't think that all were Shaped.

Clawbugs probably can - look at the huge amounts of clawbugs and clawbug dens with clawbug queens.

Eye Aphorelik in GF4 states that Gazers reproduce, but doesn't go into much detail other than "It's very biological."
