When was the last time that: You showered? This morning. You lost your cell phone? Where? I haven't . Losing it in my apartment hardly counts. You lost your keys? Locked them somewhere? I left my work keys hanging from a locker, and realized they were there about 0.5 seconds before the room door locked behind me. This was about four months ago. You cut your hair? Uh... end of September, apparently. You overslept? Fall 2005. Severe case of the hangover, and forgetting-to-set-the-alarm. I usually don't oversleep, just delay leaving my apartment to the very last minute. Current: Mode of transportation? Train, mostly. Book you are reading? I should be reading Financial Statement Analysis, by Wild, Subramanyam & Halsey. Exciting stuff, believe you me. Model of cell phone? This one. Mine's gray. It's pretty cool, except for the fact, that it can't take hits very well - the first time I dropped it, it got a dent. Jewelry you are wearing? I don't. Game you are playing? Blades of Avernum. Dilecia. Fav: Cartoon? you can include cartoons that you used to like Oh, I don't know. Gummi Bears used to be fun. Way back. Actually, I only watch South Park nowadays. Baseball team? Don't get that here. And if we did, I wouldn't care. Location? Somewhere in Nature? Home is good too, though. SW oldbie The desp crew is often quite fun. SW newbie? Um. No idea. Tyran is a newbie, right? Yeah, I'll pick him. Have you ever? Stalked someone? Not in the bushes, or anything equivalent. I am an observer, however. Been in love? Yes. Missed TM? Don't we all? Gotten lost? Yes. Thrown a pie at someone? No. Food fights of any kind are actually quite rare over here. Thank god. Random First quote that pops into your head? "Endure. In enduring grow strong." Dak'kon, quoting some religious scripture of his. Name a red object in your room A box of cream-filled chocolate candies behind me. Huh, that's actually the only one. Name a song that makes you sad Hmm. I'll go with To Wish Impossible Things - The Cure. If you could remove a person from history, who would it be? If I had an 'undo' option, then probably Stalin. If not, then no-one. If you could call someone a 'best friend', who would that be? My best friend. Durrrr. Edit: quote:Only the theme song. They had it voiced-over to Finnish, and it stunk bad. Never watched it further than the time it took to change the channel. Hmm, maybe I was just too old for the show. Sorry to resurrect, but I have issues. Well, one at the moment: The PC version of Dilecia downloads and installs fine, but the quest list and stores in the scenario are all empty, even though there should clearly be something in them. What gives? I re-downloaded and installed it, but it didn't work. Posts: 353 | Registered: Monday, January 9 2006 08:00 |

You know, I wouldn't mind getting invited either. The email that my school provides is irritatingly unreliable. Oh right, you probably need my email for that. I'd see a teensy-weensy difference between the points you mentioned, and what's going on in Turkey - in terms of severity, that is. 1) Amnesty's report on Turkey. 2) Granted, noone's perfect in this sence. However, I'd say it isn't very smart to have said disputes with existing members of the Union. 3) CIA World Factbook on Turkey. Look under economy . Of particular interest are: I)Inflation in -05 was ~7,7% (as opposed to 4,5% in Bulgaria, another candidate to join the Union, and ; and far from the ECB requirement of <3%). II) One fifth of the population is living below the poverty line. III) The otherwise rapidly growing Turkish economy experienced "sharp declines in output" in -94, -99 and -01. => Unstable. 4) Drug trafficking. At the very bottom of the Factbook page. And then there were the bombings of popular tourist resorts this summer. I guess there's probably more, if you look for it. 5) Yeah, this one isn't really much of a real argument. Just popped into my head. Posts: 353 | Registered: Monday, January 9 2006 08:00 |

Human rights violations?Occupation of Cyprus, as well as ongoing border disputes with Greece?Unstable economy?Ineffective police force + border control? The fact that they're not actually in Europe? If Turkey is to be let into the Union, it needs a lot of work. You know, it actually took Aran's post for me to realize what's going on with the member numbers here. For shame Tyran! Confusing your fellow members like that. I bought/built a badass pc in January -05. Nowadays it's just decent, but I can still play all of the latest games, if not on the absolute max settings. Haven't upgraded it much since, just added some ram and another hard drive. Basically it's still the same. I'm not planning on upgrading in the near future, though. Since this computer was built with the desibel count in mind, and I don't seem to have much interest in the new games, I suspect my money will be better spent elsewhere. Still, I could get a new monitor... Posts: 353 | Registered: Monday, January 9 2006 08:00 |

I just got a new phone, so I've only got five numbers on my list, and three of them were accidents (the phone isn't supposed to call, when I press the middle button). - Co-worker - Work - The fixed line of a friend from school (whoops) - An ex co-worker (damn that button) - A soon-to-be ex co-worker (my bad) Just out of curiosity, how much does it cost for you people to use your cell phones? The rates over here are 0,069 ?/min for calls, 0,069 ? for SMS, and 0,66 ? fixed costs per month. (In USD $0,09; $0,09 and $0,84 respectively.) Posts: 353 | Registered: Monday, January 9 2006 08:00 |
