That's because you grabbed the information for a website, not for the picture graphic itself. Oh, and Dikiyoba actually got instead of 100%. Dikiyoba just wanted to properly earn that result. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

Yes, the use ability button (it looks like a hand). You have the option to change the character's graphics and name from there. Dikiyoba. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

Originally by Askman: quote:Yes, that's the problem with preset classes. They have more starting skillpoints, but some of them are useless. Don't worry too much about having a perfect strategy and party build. Avernum is forgiving enough that you won't have problems. Just go out and play the game. Dikiyoba. Edit: Fixed quote. Congratulations, Stew Boy! You finally made it! This deserves something really special, but Dikiyoba can't think of anything at the moment. Just know that you deserve something really special. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

Ahhh! I'm losing the ability to keep track of who is having problems with my site in all this spam. So, who is having issues with the site, but can still view it, and who is having issues with the site and can't view it? Originally by Ephesos: quote:The snow is just outside the message boards. Everyone is safe inside. For now. No, Dikiyoba doesn't know what it's like outside the message boards either. Just that it snows. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

Originally by Kelandon: quote:You can jump out of a swing if the ground below is wood chips or rubber pieces, but not if it's cement. Plus, you can bury people if the wood chips and rubber pieces are deep enough. :P --- I think that one way to balance safety and fun is giving kids enough responsibility and information to think and decide for themselves. The odds of a kid getting seriously injured is much less if they know enough to make decisions for themselves. At my school, dodgeball was banned because it was too dangerous and someone might get hurt. But we played it whenever we could anyway, just with rules that you couldn't aim for the head or neck, or throw the ball with every ounce of your strength. If someone couldn't follow those rules, everyone left and the game ended. If a kid broke the rules repeatedly, everyone quickly learned that they were an idiot and they wouldn't be allowed to play any more. Sometimes, there would be two games of dodgeball going, one for the kids who thought that pain equaled fun and one for the kids who thought otherwise. No one was ever seriously hurt and it was a lot of fun, but it was still banned, which was foolish. Dikiyoba. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

I couldn't answer yes to that poll, because now that I've seen the game, I like it the way it is and I wouldn't want it changed. But if Jeff were to do a pure sci-fi game, I think I'd like that too. Dikiyoba. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

Having a slith can make a few encounters a little bit easier, so it's nice to have one. Dikiyoba relies very heavily on basic mage spells and priest spells. One character is also a rogue with lots of tool use. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

Originally by Tyranicus: quote:I'd rather have decent shoulders to ride on. I ride my bike on the sidewalk (when there is a sidewalk) because the shoulder of the road is too narrow (and often bumpy). I don't want to be on the same road as cars going 45, 55 miles per hour. Originally by Nemesis: quote:At Dikiyoba's school, that got turned into a game. Climb up to the plastic slide, build up as much static electricity as possible on the way down, run for the nearest metal object (or kid), and shock yourself as badly as you can. Originally by Nioca: quote:And Ephesos was responding with two comments to two different posts. Originally by Fatman: quote:I know. I've been lax. :( Originally by -X-: quote:Seriously, -X-, enough. (And that goes for everyone else who wants to see him appear too.) I know you want to be in the story, and I know you haven't appeared yet. Constantly reminding me of it only makes it more difficult for me to include you. So please stop. You're only hurting your cause. It's not that Dikiyoba doesn't like suggestions, it's that this has moved from suggesting to beating Dikiyoba over the head with it. With a copy of Homeland. :P Edit: Added first quote. I watched Wishbone. I don't really know why. It wasn't all that good, actually, and once they added a bunch of new characters, it was terrible. I never watched Reading Rainbow (probably because I was never home in time to catch it). Dikiyoba remembers watching some other reading show, though. Something featuring a white van with a happy face on the side of it. Anyone know the name of it? Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

Well, in that case, Dikiyoba asks -X- to cease and desist with his posting gimmick. It's similar to Dikiyoba's, and Dikiyoba had it first, so Dikiyoba has the rights to it. I don't have a camera, but I wasn't going to dress up until about three hours ago, so it's for the best, considering that my costume is a hooded robe made only from black garbage bags and masking tape. It looks slightly better than one might expect. Dikiyoba. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

Originally by Dintiradan: quote:But on the other hand, DoK isn't bad the way it is now. Spend a few hours on it to get it done, wait a few days before you take another look at it, spend another few hours fixing it up, and release it for beta testing. You may regret it releasing it later on, but you've been around long enough and put enough thought into it already that we players won't regret that you released it. Besides, it might be helpful to have a few beta testers to look at it and give a few suggestions. Dikiyoba. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

How many canisters did you use, Alberich? If you only used a few and Micawber used a lot, that could account for the difference. Oh, and Dikiyoba welcomes you to (active participation in) the boards.
