Okay, it's not really better than Hoboken, but at least it's a country. Almost.

I'll take it. I've always liked Stephenson. :D

Also, can someone make a world map with each member labeling his/her country on their website, like we did with the Periodic Table? I also wonder who will be the United States.

Greenland is a self-governed Danish territory, not a country. :P

As to the map, I'm working on it now.

Do you still exist then, or only in badly written novels?

I'd like to represent North Korea, a country intent on being internationally important while being a threat to the world.

The Illuminati still think the Illuminati exist. But as they say, reality is created by the society...

And that makes me, um... Colombia. I don't like what I'm known for, but MEH! there's no need to spend effort to fix it.

Tyran: In that case, I suppose I'll be Ireland.

And really, Ireland is a much better match for me than Greenland now that I think of it.

A friend of my brother's when he was a little kid once explained to him that, 'You have to drive fast to get to my house.' Presumably he only meant that a highway was involved, but we all imagined this kid's house permanently zooming along at high speed, which he had to match just to get in the door. And since then I've always liked the idea of living somewhere with not just a position, but a velocity.

So I want a volume of phase space for my country.

Greed. All greed. We all get velocity, but you want relative velocity. Well :P to you good Sir. ;)

Kel is clearly Acient Greece, and even Italy would be more adequate. But that's too far away from Dom. Rep. so NO!; thus, I nominate him as Mexico. Because
1) He is damn hot
2) It's in his blood, and
3) Well we need more Spanish countries

I could argue that he is rich in culture, and blah blah blah. Anywho, I'm sorry Jewels but Aran is the poster kid for Germany. And I don't just say that becuase that's his country of birth. Also, I like Thuryl as England given that not even British people have as thick of an english accent as Thuryl's does.

Edit: I'd like to nominate Nikki as Nicaragua. He is known for his poetry, souly beautiful, big in size compared to others of its kind (Central America countries) but with a small population (Social life). And Nicaragua was once a British protectorate.
