Good work, MagmaDragoon. Spiderweb always needs more comparisons between its members and something else. :P Even though Dikiyoba doesn't look anything like that, wouldn't want to look like that, and doesn't have any sort of weapon, Dikiyoba supposes that Dikiyoba should take it as a compliment. I suppose I'm fascinated with fire. I particularily enjoy playing with candles and campfires, but nothing ever really large or dangerous. Dikiyoba doesn't like fire on beaches, however, ever since Dikiyoba stepped directly into a pile of hot coals that someone had thrown just enough sand on top of to disguise it. I just realized that I've heard Arancaytar's memorable quote play out in real life. Person 1: "Hey, gimme your lunch." Person 2: "No. It's mine." Person 1: "You're gay." A short pause. Person 1: "C'mon, just gimme your lunch." Dikiyoba. [ Saturday, July 22, 2006 06:34: Message edited by: Dikiyoba ] Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

It's been so long since I've played the game that I can't remember exactly what the changes are. But I don't think the stats were maxed out at 30, so I voted for the disappointed option. The real disappointment of Geneforge 1, though, is that by the time Dikiyoba used the Geneforge, all the other zones are clear, so there was nowhere for Dikiyoba to test out the newfound power of the character. Each creation type has a set message, rather than the number of times you do it. And, yes, it is a waste of time, but some time is meant to be wasted. What, exactly, do you have to do in G3 to get the secret messages? Dikiyoba hasn't found them yet. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

Relax, Bomber. You don't need to have every other post in the topic. It's not a problem yet, but it can become an issue. Originally by Bomber: quote:Very appropriate spot for a misspelling. No offense meant. :P Dikiyoba doesn't play Runescape or any other online games. Well, maybe a few free, short online games now and then, but they're generally terrible. Dikiyoba would rather play offline games, since Internet connection is sometimes difficult to come by at Dikiyoba's house. Edit: Typo. Originally by Student of Trinity: quote:So that's where all the children are. Obviously, Dikiyoba needs to slow down and explore those non-zoned areas a little more. But all those protesters chanting "Down with Shapers! Down with Shapers!" makes Dikiyoba want to get through there as soon as possible. That, and Dikiyoba never has enough money to buy souvenirs. Who is this Dikyoba that you speak of, and what kind of stories does Dikyoba write? And is Dikyoba related to Diknyoba? Which brings Dikiyoba to #88. 88. Spell names right. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

Hmm...I feel almost guilty for bringing this up again, but it isn't that old. Yay, fifth! This is the first time I've had an odd position on the top ten list. And happy late birthday, Arancaytar. Hey, if Dikiyoba can kill off every Taker in the game in G1 and the end game text still talks about how the Shapers crushed the remaining Takers, then surely Dikiyoba can use Dikiyoba's imagination a little. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

Dikiyoba usually casts terror on the hostile non-combatants, like the serviles and spies in Barzite lands. It usually kills them, but Dikiyoba can pretend that they just ran off. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

Activity on a specific board differs from month to month. It wasn't too long ago that the Geneforge Series was very active. And the Geneforge Series has a lot more posts and topics than the Avernum Trilogy. Dikiyoba actually feels that the Geneforge Series is more active. Maybe Dikiyoba is just more active here than there. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

Doing serious role-playing so that Avernum is being saved by four fluffy kittens with a bizarre fascination for clay pots - priceless. Dikiyoba. Edit: Typo. [ Thursday, July 20, 2006 20:32: Message edited by: Dikiyoba ] Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

Well, there are lots of Geneforge players, like Delicious Vlish and Student of Trinity. But none of them were in the scene at the time, and it wouldn't have made sense to have them enter. That's what I meant by shortage. And for those of you who don't play Geneforge, Dikiyoba presents a really bad picture of a ice-breathing dinosaur: Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |
