?!?!?!?!?!! *%&%$^£^%$!!! "Temporarily suffering from thought processes that aren't rational"?!?!

Do you really know a single human being that can ever truly claim that they are thinking rationally? Because if you think you do I would call them a liar. All humans are insane from birth pretty much.

We live in a stupid, illogical and irrational world, full of hope, desire, pain, suffering, war, disease... the list goes on and on. And you expect ANYONE to be even mildly sane?!

Ah clams to it! Meh, bleh, feh.

Okay, I've been on the SW boards a long time, I know the mem. nums. of most of the oldies but one I've never seen is 2. I mean was there a number 2? Did they just forget it? Numbers 1-5 (not including 2 obviously) are Spiderweb, Schrodinger, Tentacle Monster and Mystery Man. What happened to 2?

There are very few people who gain satisfaction in removing themselves from life. Retrospect is all well and good but foresight would be better, so you can actually think before throwing yourself over the edge. Assuming something will happen because of your death is unwise, nothing goes exactly as planned, and assumption is the mother of all f* ups.

Personally speaking I disagree with your comment on thinking. I can make myself not think quite easily, it's all a matter of concentration and is very relaxing afterwards.

Entropy may be unfair, but only life's losers cry that word. It happens, but all things must wind down and come to an end. Entropy can be reversed or stopped, based on anything is physically possible, you just have to find a way to do it. But we are unlikely to see any major effect of entropy in any of our lifetimes.

According to human laws of space, time and physics, everything that has a beginning must have an end, how long is inbetween is, ultimately, up to the entity in question.

People who commit suicide of their own "free will" - because they cannot find a way out - should remember one thing; anything is possible, you just have to find a way to do it. Life is as simple and as complicated as that.

You are all welcome I'm sure. However I have discovered a disturbing thing. HorseHappy has already tried this on the Genforge board. Is this just spam on a respectable ham and chutney board? What is the ulterior motive behind this? Find out next post on, What The *FF* Am I Talking About? No serious, why did this happen, and is this just spam?

I lurked for about 2 years, it was fun, but then I decided that I was probably insane and have now devoted my life to developing a working "many flying attack porcupine launcher", no luck so far but oh well, if the worst comes to the worst I can build that rail gun me and my friends designed (we actually did make plans for one that would probably work with aluminium ball-bearings. Seriously).

I can also do the following:

Give ANYONE a headache in 30 seconds just by talking to them.
Have deep philosophical debates with myself.
Be an extremely jammy (lucky for those who don't know the lingo) b*hutch.
Win any game on any console at any difficulty level.
Cook ANYTHING. And when I say anything I mean anything.

Feh, meh, bleh.

You've only got ferrets? Man you got it easy. I have to deal with Giant Rabid Agrravated Badgerigars. Yes there really is such a thing. And anyone who doubts me will simply have to prove Panama exists.

As for the query in hand. WHY WHY WHY?! Why did you burn down the Hippo Parlour Sammy?! Aren't we all taking this a little fast, I mean how about dinner, some flowers maybe a show? I mean come on we don't want to rush things eh? I've got feelings too.

Okay I have temporarily regained control. Why the query? What the *FF* is this supposed to be about? And where is my cat Mittens? Other than that it depends on the person.

Actually where I live I've seen complete systems with 1TB Drives in, quite frankly if that's what the retailers are selling I'm pretty sure I could get a 1.2, maybe 1.4 on its' own from a parts dealer for about as much as the retailers think their 1.0 is worth.

And COME ON! Who needs that much in the way of specs? NO ONE! You can run a small country's defence network on a third of that. I haven't found a game which needs nearly that much. It's just a waste of money, because in six months you can buy it for half the price. Christ! I could source parts and put one together for 2/3 right now.

By ze way, those aren't actually the best specs you can get on a finished. I saw a review on a new system out recently that barring peripherals was about 5-10% better.

EDIT: WOOOOHHH!!!! 100! In your face math boy! WOOOOH!! Possums!

Life can be good, bad or indifferent. You have to make choices, good, bad or indifferent. But there is no point in ending your own life prematurely. There is always a possibility that things could get better. But there is no guarnntee that there is anything after death. So live life as full as you can.

On a more sensible note, whatever anyone can do to you remember that there is always a way to wreak worse havoc on them, you just have to think of one. If the b-hutches try to get you down, stand up and play merry heck with 'em. They knock one of your teeth out, come back home with three of theirs.

Meh, Bleh, Feh.

Commiting Hari Kiri is a grave act. Unfortunately the instance of it has gone up fivefold in the last twenty years, world-wide. This society that has been created are apathetic, bored and frightened. Twenty years ago, if you saw injustice in the world you could go out and fight to stop it, people like Lennon and Luther King are examples of this - they saw the bad and fought against it. Nowadays we all seem to be growing up with the motto: "One man can't change the world." People are frustrated, they are trapped in whatever situation they happen to find themselves in. Rather than the complaint offered that they could not do anything about it, more true is that they refuse to break with the "social norm" and simply would not do anything.

We are a brainwashed society. Not as obvious as Mugabe's reign of terror and his "training facilities". Instead, it comes from the bottom up, it is present everywhere in our world. We are trained from birth to be subservient to everyone else. How, when faced with this and all of the problems of the world, like plague, war and complete miserable bordom, what would you do? There is really only three options:

1) Following in their footsteps. Personally speaking, I do not prefer this option.

2) Ignore it. Hope it goes away. Yeah, right(!) Such a good idea(!)

3) Break social norm. risk everything, just for the potential of breaking the endless monotony for possibly just an iota of time. Personally speaking, I prefer this, for it may only happen for but a moment, but for that moment you can throw off whatever life throws at you by doing the equivilent of "playing dirty". But for however long it may be, for that time you can truely say that you are free. That you have lived.

Koolbeans! That is probably the most useless, silly piece of literature I ever had the pleasure of enjoying. An inspired story with good morals, clear and concise character development and a good, consistent (amusing aswell) theme. You could probably get it published as a short story, though it might need a bit of bulking up, like more punctuation or something. Good on you chappie!

Kirk: Analysis Mr. Spock?
Spock: Appears to be a variety of fruit Captain.
Kirk: Hmm... a thoroughly pointless string with little plot value. I'll just have to save this show by looking towards the stars, while looking pensive and maybe I'll fool people into thinking that the reason nothing is going on is that there's something wrong with their TVs.
Spock: A logically viable plan Captain, those "Trekkies" will believe anything.
Kirk: Quiet Bo-Bo.

Okay! Okay! So what if I have the memory for unimportant things of a goldfish? Still, 9 points clear, an unbeaten run, less than a dozen games to go, Henry back from injury and the FA Cup all but in the bag. And we're doing pretty well in the internationals this season aswell. So much for the Chelsea "Dream Team" AND we thrased Man U when we played them last. Hey, it's not like I support Wolves or Leicester or even Leeds for that matter (No offence ment to people who do support them, but... nya-neh-nya-neh-nya-neh!).

Barter helps you buy stuff more cheaply. Just remember the golden rule: money can be exchanged for goods and/or services, it is however unwise to exchange 1000 gold pieces for some supposedly "magic" beans and then eat them, even if the guy you got them off did seem really wizened, first feed one to the cat, if it starts growing into a giant green plant or just can't walk straight, then they're probably good beans.

1) 15 - but if anyone calls me little they'l regret it (me being 6"1 and built like the proverbial tank (Trust me, I kid ye not)).
2) Male
3) Sometimes one, sometimes the other and occaisionally both, depends what mood I'm in
4) I'm 15 for crying out loud! YEAH, I live with my 5 wives and 2 husbands - just for the fun of it(!) Like I'm gonna be married(!)
5) None yet but I'm aiming at about 10-15 Bsc's (For those who are American, other or are just plain sillicon-based that's a degree)
6) THE most boring place on EARTH, Hertfordshire(Though I do travel through my radiator to the magical land of Narnia on alternate Tuesdays).
7) 1/2 South Mancunianlandian 1/2 Plain Silli
8) Vaguely English, though I still claim Thunderran, whatever the psychiatrists might say.
9) Moomin, Clanger or Squeebop, take your pick.
10) Weeelll, (I'm being serious here) I have my own religion based on two things - all people are basically silly and that whether you believe that the universe was created by god(s), the big bang or you just don't care; they cannot (according human laws of space, time and physics) have just "appeared" and just "be there" so there is something I don't understand there.
11) A LONG time, ages, might as well call it forever. Or, in short about a year after E1 came out (don't know exact date).
12) Only if they like really cool vintage cartoons like The Magic Roundabout, Thundercats and Count Duckula...

Or worship cuckoo clocks.

Weeelllll now... the whole point of it is that they both have advantages and disadvantages that level it out, the Romans have superior fighting skill (by a few miles), aren't so good with magic, they also have most of the forces of Shadowvale allied against them, but do have the crones on their side. Meanwhile the Celts, while their fighting skill isn't SO great, they do have some pretty powerful magic, the problem with this, is that you rely on having SP at the time, but the potion skill they have can make up for this, the forces of Shadowvale are on their side, but the crones aren't which does lead to difficulties. All in all the Romans generally are easier to play, though you do have to fight ALOT more than the Celts.

Let's have a little quiz:

1)Why did Hitler become the monstrous leader of Germany? A: because in the closing days of WW1 he was hit by an american shell, killing the rest of his platoon and causing him to experience "shell shock" and turning him deeply insane.

2)How much has heroin production in Afghanistan gone up SINCE American "intervention"? A: roughly 1100% (seriously).

3)Who educates the majority of terrorist leaders? A: American universities (9/10 of those ivy league).

4)What is the meaning of the word terrorist? A: someone who inspires terror, you don't have to blow anything up to do that.

5)Running by the previous question, who is the world's biggest terrorist? A: America as a whole, George "dubya" Bush in particular.

6)Also running by that, what is the world's biggest terrorist organisation? A: the CIA (member for member).

7)Who is the world's biggest arms dealer? A: America (black market AND above-board).

8)Who startsthe most wars in the world? A: you guessed it, America.

9)Who backs the most wars in the world? A: yawn(!) America(!).

10)Finally, what is America's most common excuse for fighting a war? A: protecting national interests (the real honest to whatever truth).

Hitler didn't start a fight, he went insane and finalised one that was (for him at least) still going on. At the end of the day, (no offence to you people) if America DIDN'T exist, the world in all likelyhood would be ALOT better off. T.T.F.N.! (ta-ta-for-now).

Well I'm risking severe moider by saying this, but... oh well.

You can name me a hundred great "heros of humanity" but with each they all have their faults, no-one can be pefect to everyone, though some may think them so. Each and every one of them will have 'sinned' or comitted a 'moral wrong' but with each and every one of them, they are famous, they made a name for themselves by helping people in some way, though some may have had questionable ethics, or have been responsible for organised crime, they helped. If they hadn't then why would some know of them as "good people". At the end of the day it does not matter what you thought or really said, it only matters what you go down as in history.

In the run-up to the war 'dubya', his administration and Blair kept on saying that WMDs existed and that Saddam was the biggest threat to world peace at that moment. Now we learn that they cannot find any WMDs and that the biggest threat Saddam posed was a rather rounded beard. It makes me wonder, not why we went to war, but HOW ON EARTH an extreme biggot of a man, a man who is 1 IQ point off of having a subnormal IQ (There ARE chimps smarter), who has an administration full of trigger-happy gun-toting lecherous bee-hutches, WHO in all likelyhood IS the biggest threat to world peace AND has the leader of another country SO far up his rear that you can't tell where one stops and the other begins, HOW HE GOT ELECTED IN THE FIRST PLACE!?!
