I'm currently running the Romans and have explored the upper and lower levels of Galag-Trav. However, I can't find any way to get into the crypt in the SW part of the lower level. I can pierce the barriers with a Piercing Crystal, but still can't enter. When I try, everyone gets Drained, but it won't let me move beyond that point. Any help would be appreciated. Been way too long since I last played Nethergate. Regardless, you should be able to enter provided you're playing as the Romans. You may need to get to the main area of the game first, though. Perhaps pick up a 5th player? -------------------- A few cats short of a kitten pot pie... Radioactive cats have 18 half-lives. Thanks for the reply, Schrodinger. At this point I'm probably halfway through the game. I've already been through Galag-Nor and had the Skull of Stone taken away. I am playing the Romans and Rhian has been my 5th party member for quite a while. Any other suggestions? Is there anything in particular I need to do to get past the defenses? Hm, maybe increase your luck or lore skills. Alternatively, you may want to cheat by using the fight-end bug. It's been too long since I played to give you adequate assistance. -------------------- A few cats short of a kitten pot pie... Radioactive cats have 18 half-lives. Thanks again for the input. I haven't tried passing it in combat mode, so I may give that a shot. BTW, I haven't been able to figure out what the button on the stand in the closet at the top of the stairs to the lower level is supposed to do. Any idea? Unfortunately, combat didn't get me past that point, either. Oh well, guess I'll just have to give up on that particular part of the dungeon. If anyone else has any ideas, I'd be happy to hear them. Gordon Posts: 10 | Registered: Wednesday, May 8 2002 07:00 |

quote:Most of those buttons open nearby portculli. OTher than that, I don't htink they do much. Sorry I can't help much with the getting past the barrier- the only other suggestion I can give you is to scour the level, maybe you'll find something somewhere. -------------------- A few cats short of a kitten pot pie... Gordon mate, what he means by "combat cheat" is, if you line your characters up, enter combat mode, then exit combat mode, your party will have moved one space froward with no ill effects. You can also use this to look around Nethergate itself (though there's not much there). Posts: 1487 | Registered: Sunday, February 10 2002 08:00 |
