How about Chris Evans and Michael Portillo? I would say Noel Gallagher or Russell Crowe against the Scandinavian Mafias, but oh wait! Those already happened! -------------------- Aut Tace Aut Loquere Meliora Silencio Posts: 1487 | Registered: Sunday, February 10 2002 08:00 |

A flame war? Over Erika? In Tech Support? Yeah right. Though before she died, she must've been getting on a bit. I mean, it takes time to become a major archmagess, then the time involved inn Exile getting rid of Grah-Hoth and putting Micah on the throne before E1 happens, then all of the time up to E3 (by which time, it says that all your adventurers were born in Exile, and they needed time to grow up, at least 20 years we're talking here). She must have been at least 60-70 and maybe anywhere up to 90. Posts: 1487 | Registered: Sunday, February 10 2002 08:00 |

Okay, maybe I was the only one who could play through MoO2 with Repulsive disadvantage, no advantages on impossible and Antarans attack and still win without breaking a sweat. Oh well. To be honest, I've never played any of the other games mentioned here, but looking at some of them I might take a look. Posts: 1487 | Registered: Sunday, February 10 2002 08:00 |

Sometimes people are more mature. Sometimes they are more childish. A fifty-year-old can have the worst spelling and grammar of anyone you know. But that is sidetracked and pointless, not to mention dull. It doesn't matter how old someone is. Or who they are. Not even what they say. All that really matters is the whole. Ah rollocks. I apologise. I'm not really a people-person at the moment. Nor do I use more than two of my personalities on these boards. But at the moment I really couldn't care less. -------------------- I like to say quack because I can, I like to say moooo because I can, but I don't like saying ergle flmp because I can never pronounce phenomenon first try. Well, I would laugh, but at the moment melancholy is all I can muster for this damnably silly topic. EDIT1: Yeah, doors are pretty cool. Being doorlike and everything... oooh! Wooden! Depending on length, quality and, of course, the language you program in... at least six to eight months worth of hard work to make something anywhere near decent. Some people can do it faster, some slower, but it all depends on what you are doing, how good you are, language and how much debugging you have to do afterwards. -------------------- Aut Tace Aut Loquere Meliora Silencio Posts: 1487 | Registered: Sunday, February 10 2002 08:00 |

I've had this sig since I resurfaced. I've not changed it, except for one week where I paid homage to USCA's. It does show a side of me that I don't usually be. Perhaps I should, but I don't. Sigs can have a use. Then again, they can be page-widening annoying piles of wang, that take up half a page, just because someone felt "special". Gragh. -------------------- Aut Tace Aut Loquere Meliora Silencio Posts: 1487 | Registered: Sunday, February 10 2002 08:00 |

Personally, I would prefer to be 13 again. Back then I used to live alot more, stay out longer, philosophise less and was generally a happier person. Now, a bare two years on, I am often struck by melancholy and lack of motivation. My potential and skills have increased, but the real ability to do anything is just the same. Add that to some of my more disturbing, yet all but certain theories, and this just aggrieves me. And, with the assistance of other environmental factors, has rendered me quite insane. Just as big, just as smart, but restricted by the fools who just see a child. -------------------- I like to say quack because I can, I like to say moooo because I can, but I don't like saying ergle flmp because I can never pronounce phenomenon first try. Ah a grammatically incorrect Canadn from Canadia. The obsession with horses is that, not only are all known specie seemingly identical, but they are apparently indestructable, can move twice as fast as any other thing alive and seem to provide you with more food somehow. (Based on lower usage of food). This rounds up to dang good creature. The drawbacks are that while indestructable, they are unable to move with someone one them and no offensive capabilities. And sure, the Exiles have plenty of allies, but the entire army is useless except for small six-person bands of adventurers that, as was said, if the amount of reloads that a player has to use is anything to go by, have depopulated the Exiles and their allies five times over. Ah happy birthday TGM, probably for yesterday now. May you have enjoyed it in a seemingly nice and non-inane way! OOC: Brant isn't an adventurer. He was the innkeeper, remember? Nice update though. Just one thing about the map, it might just be my computer, but my monitor shows the same colour for some of the things, making it a little difficult to discern. IC: The adventurers dashed out the door and started down the street towards the western gate. Stopping sharply, they drew their swords in a rush. Ahead was complete carnage - the freed townspeople were running amok and attacking the shifters and demons alike. It's a bloodbath. Suddenly the townspeople started to run away down a street towards the river. Rey: "why'd they just run off like that?" Terril: "I don't know, but we have more... urgent concerns to deal with." He gestured to the shifters and demons that had noticed them and were walking towards them. Hispalgia: "oh dear..." There were at least twenty fully-armed shifters and half a dozen demons. "We can't fight them, come on!" Turning and starting to run down the street, they took the right turn to get to the south gate. And stopped. Ahead was another large group of shfters and demons advancing. They had obviously expected to be able to sneak up behind the adventurers. Glancing towards the other group and then back it was blatant that they couldn't fight them all. they turned and ran towards the river in sight to the north, with the demons not far enough for comfort behind. Reaching the muddy bank, they could see that the other bank was far too far away, with the current too fast, to swim across. Their last hope dashed, they turned to fight the advancing menace. Damn -------------------- I like to say quack because I can, I like to say moooo because I can, but I don't like saying ergle flmp because I can never pronounce phenomenon first try. The Dante's Inferno Test has banished you to the Sixth Level of Hell - The City of Dis! Here is how you matched up against all the levels: Level | Score Purgatory | Very Low Level 1 - Limbo | Very Low Level 2 | High Level 3 | Moderate Level 4 | High Level 5 | High Level 6 - The City of Dis | Very High Level 7 | High Level 8- the Malebolge | Very High Level 9 - Cocytus | Very High Wooh! Heretic! It finds me a distasteful character. Like I'm surprised. We built Dis City on rock'n'roll. -------------------- Aut Tace Aut Loquere Meliora Silencio Posts: 1487 | Registered: Sunday, February 10 2002 08:00 |
