We do have some older women around, though. But yeah, the significant majority consists of teenagers, with almost everyone else being in their 20's, and then a few notable exceptions who are older. And what else does this tell us except that more than 75% are below 20 here? Edit: And about 20% lie about their age? It tells us who we're dealing with, and wether we need to act as if we're all adults, or as if we're all 2 year olds. -------------------- "You dare trifle with Avernum?" ~ Erika the Archmage Posts: 1370 | Registered: Thursday, June 10 2004 07:00 |

It isn't a matter of 'needing'. We all, of course, NEED to act like adults. Whether or not some of us are capable... I'm afraid... is a tale for another time. -------------------- Better to die for something, than live for nothing. Posts: 1582 | Registered: Wednesday, November 13 2002 08:00 |

Yes! Someone besides me alowing people to see results without having to vote. IMHO, I have no idea why other people force you to vote before viewing results on unimportant stuff, like, Are you working on a BoA Scenerio? You know him personally? This poll is basically senseless because the ranges are chosen badly. If you really wanted to have a meaningful result, you'd separate the 11-20 into more categories, or the eleven-years-old kids will be statistically identical with people who are in the middle of their university careers. -------------------- Visit The Santharian Dream and its RP board. Well, I don't know if I need to. Some of the 11 year olds I know are a lot nicer to be around than the 19 year olds. I mean, just because they're older than the 11 year olds. Does it really mean that you can be stroppy if you're older. I don't know what the world's coming to. Young hooligans!!! Having gone through it (thus being ALLOWED to make the judgement), the teenager years, most specifically 14-18, are the most influential times of one's life (or so I've found so far). When an 11 year old says that they understand everything about a 16 year old's life (hey it's just a five year difference!), they are completely wrong. Sure, now that we're out in the world, 5 years is nothing. Heck, my grandmother was 11 years older than my grandfather. But at these ages, 14-18, there are so many changes in both oneself and one's environment, that those younger or older should not be allowed to pass judgement on those in question. I have no idea how this fits in the conversation, but ponder the words of wisdom anyway. -------------------- Better to die for something, than live for nothing. Yeah. But a sixteen year old knows nothing about an eleven year old's life. I mean, it's like I don't even know anything about an eleven year old's life, let alone a five year old's life. You forget.
