I'm not sure that anyone can perform at our expectation levels for as long as this travesty continues. I predict more gaffes, more desperate low level campaign workers digging up more dirt, and less actual content until this whole thing is straightened out at the convention. Even then, it will be messy, with the Democratic Party having within reach two of their gold medals. Victorian era = European prudeness, but that was a reaction to a previous era where sexuality was a lot more open and honest. If anything, the swing of the pendulum is shorter, but it still swings. I would hesitate to say that this type of change is what drives the unhappiness. Historically, this stuff happens when an underclass becomes aware of their situation, and begins to openly resent their betters. With the culmination of the 5 part series due by the end of the year, you are positioned perfectly to play all five games in order without too long of a pause. Then, in October you can pick up the discounted Avernum games. Check out the various games forums below for in depth assessments of the various games, as well as the requisite hints and strategies. I found Geneforge better in terms of strategy of interpersonal choices, and Avernum better in terms of character build strategy.
