I think they are cute. Especially since Lawbringer looks suspiciously close to Lawbreaker.

I got bit by a rattlesnake and walked it off. I guess either it forgot to inject enough venom, or I wasn't poisoned that badly. The fangs went right through 2 pairs of socks and my trusty Red Wings.

That blurb is from the SW Newsletter. Likely the IMG news department subscribes to this, and cares enough to post the necessary info.

Actually, Terry Pratchett is enjoying remarkably good health for a dead man. I mean, yeah he has early onset Alzheimer's, but he's not yet been visited by Death.

Addit - Could fans of Clarke recommend a few of his books, and why they are being recommended? I've never read his stuff, and we're due for another trip to Powell's bookstore soon.

Have you no common sense? This is a company website. This is family friendly. Swearing, even disguised, is not allowed.

Edit - I'm obviously fail at the keyboard tonight.

I had always assumed that Tully's "list" was more of a mega-RP thing. It's not like he names real people, or has the power to actually find them out. It will be disappointing if he really leaves.

And, I thought you were going to take a break. Have the episodes become your skribbane?

All this squabbling has eror laughing at us. Stymie his plans by standing firm, together, against his onslaughts. His ordering of us can not create distention, at least publicly. His presence here is tolerated, much like that of a servile in Shaper lands, but remains tenuous as he is a Taker. :P

Thralni, as much as I despise text speak, it's hard to hate the users. They aren't necessarily lazy, just focussed. If this is a new language/spelling system, then it will stand on its own merits or disappear. Either way, I won't use it, but it's hardly bothersome. There is still a time and place for everything, and I flash my high beams at people texting from their cars. After the initial swerve, they get the message, and I never even had to text them! :D

McCain, who's in his seventies, is basically claiming he's a war hero. (Which war? Korea?) My guess is that he was drafted, and didn't fight willingly; either that, or he had a desk job, and won a medal for pushing pencils.

I say forget Democrats and Republicans! Vote Ralph Nader!

Three lies, followed by personal opinion. ... I guess politicians aren't the only pathological liars out there.

And when somebody who builds his entire image around being "Mr. Positive" doesn't show common curtecy to his opponent when he thinks nobody is looking, that raises questions about the authenticity of his image.

I see it the other way. Politicians that absolutely hate each other will smile and shake hands. If Obama doesn't like Clinton, and isn't in a photo op, then hell. He shouldn't shake her hand. Hell no. It doesn't mean he wouldn't cooperate with her, it means he isn't going to pander to some artificial measure of a politician.

Edit - Since this is merely a contest between two personalities, and I've picked the one you don't like, I should perhaps disclose that I have met Mrs Clinton in person. On the other hand, my brother has met Obama and seemed to think he was a gas bag. Either way, I'll be supporting one of them in November.

Okay, so what? I prefer Obama's rhetoric over the threat of more-of-the-same from Clinton or McCain. Both of them seem to be obstructionists, much like Bush, so I still am not swayed. My chief criticism is that I don't see either of them doing the things necessary to turn this country back from a slide into recession, and you've done nothing to dissuade me. Rather than bad-mouth Obama, talk up the other two. Tell me how they would do the things I want to see done.
