quote:Well, the folks that respect Bush (20+%) will vote for that candidate. Since only 55% of the population vote, I'm going to guess that a higher proportion of the Bush supporters are actual voters, so it would seem obvious that the endorsement would mean quite a bit. On the other hand, I think Aran should be a little more transparent about how he feels regarding the President. He is occasionally a little obtuse. -------------------- Synergy, et al - "I don't get it." Argon - "I'm at a loss for words..." Posts: 4114 | Registered: Monday, April 25 2005 07:00 |

You conveniently ignored my point, which was that it is only a change in name. Countries can have a standing army without having a Department of Defense. -------------------- Synergy, et al - "I don't get it." Argon - "I'm at a loss for words..." Timely. I was going to approach you about help on integrating a sql database with a web interface in order to distribute information within a wifi district. So, what exactly is causing that high load? How many queries/hour is too much? -------------------- Synergy, et al - "I don't get it." Argon - "I'm at a loss for words..." Having participated in a discussion ex fora yesterday, I can tell you that support for Huckabee is not solely in the ether. Many people still remember that McCain played a rather dim role in the political history of the United States, at least as far as Republicans are concerned. He was a staunch supporter of campaign finance reform, yet in 1989 he was the recipient of an ethics squad investigation for his role in the Keating Savings and Loan Scandal. So, I think I'll excuse those folks who see Huckabee as a better alternative to McCain, and perhaps not be so swift to judge the relative merits of the candidates. Party voters have a long memory in this country, which when coupled with their short attention span makes them extremely wily. If McCain was to be elected, the list of favors he owed would rival that of Bush. I'm not sure the country is ready for that again, at least this soon. -------------------- Synergy, et al - "I don't get it." Argon - "I'm at a loss for words..." Ignore that post, and whatever about it that you find motivating. There was an interesting thread on the board a bit ago, which I moved down the ladder by spamming a few innocent threads. This one took friendly fire... -------------------- Synergy, et al - "I don't get it." Argon - "I'm at a loss for words..." Posts: 4114 | Registered: Monday, April 25 2005 07:00 |

Hmm, that last question was too confusing for the American people. We may end up with 4 more years. Ex - Your views of American politics and policy are skewed. Most Europeans fear American politics, and thus watch carefully. Most Americans can't even find Washington DC on a map, never mind the country "Europe," and therefore don't care who is the King of Spain. The people that are aware of the area outside their bubble do, in fact, pay attention to politics in those reasons. Mostly because their fortunes depend on it. I love it when people drag foxnews.com into a "discussion." It's the last gasp. If you can provide multiple sources, all pointing at the same thing, then it becomes believable. Much like Bush, when he heard from so many people that Saddam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction. Oh wait. The reason people hate Bush is because the war in Iraq was not necessary, and was an act of treason against the United States of America. He ordered American troops to invade a sovereign nation because they may or may not have possessed something that the United States of America possesses many times over. His actions have harmed the American people by allowing the pressure on Osama Bin Laden to be relieved for six straight years now. George Bush is a coward for not completely that difficult task, and instead creating a new enemy which was easily defeated. George Bush is a traitor, and should be put in front of a firing squad for his crimes of high treason against the Constitution of the United States of America. Anyone that understood what the American flag actually represented should also understand that. -------------------- Synergy, et al - "I don't get it." Argon - "I'm at a loss for words..."
