IC: With Weech out of action, Brail had to take the leader on by himself. His first stab with his sword sliced its side, but the wolf seemed impervious to the pain. Brail tried again, but only chopped some of its ear off. And then its tail. Brail was receiving cuts to the body, and was getting backed up against a tree. The wolf swung its paw back, ready to kill Brail, when Weech dragged his sorry body into the way. Blood spattering, he was hit in the throat. He fell to the ground. Brail cried out, but after years of watching companions dise, he knew what he had to do. He got his sword, and simply stuck it into the wolfs throat. A yelp of pain indicated its death, putting an end to its pitiful life. Brail ran to Weech, who was bleeding profousely. 'Hold on, I'll get you some help. You will be alright.' Brail was shaking. 'No,' Weech breathed. 'I have beheld a marvelous story being with you. Let it end now. Don't forget me.' Brail said to Weech between sobs, 'I will get the bastard who done this. I promise. I will scale that mountain naked to get him, if I have to.' Weech gave what looked like a smile, and died, right there in Brails arms. Meanwhile, the other wolves were disheartened with the death of the leader. Their attacks became more desperate, they were becoming sluggish. After a matter of minutes, there was only one left, wounded on the ground. Brail stalked over to it in anger. With a slash, he took its head off. He looked over at the wall of roses. It had came down, and there was a small party there. Two undead, two females, and a couple of men. They looked as if that was a breeze, and they obviously had no idea that there was a death. 'Greetings!' One hailed at him. 'I am Lisha. And you are?' OOC: I think that it came otu rather good, don't you? -------------------- I'll put a Spring in your step. You scored as Satanism. Your beliefs most closely resemble those of Satanism! Before you scream, do a bit of research on it. To be a Satanist, you don't actually have to believe in Satan. Satanism generally focuses upon the spiritual advancement of the self, rather than upon submission to a deity or a set of moral codes. Do some research if you immediately think of the satanic cult stereotype. Your beliefs may also resemble those of earth-based religions such as paganism. Satanism 79% atheism 71% Islam 63% Buddhism 63% agnosticism 63% Hinduism 46% Paganism 38% Judaism 33% Christianity 29% -------------------- Mugglenet--The ULTIMATE Harry Potter Site. OOC: I don't mind. I won't be able to play it anyway, but I still don't mind. Now, where was I... IC: The wolves were about to attack, but then were called back by some noise that they could only hear. They trotted off. Brail and Weech followed them cautiously, but there was no need. The wolves acted like they did not exist. After a couple of minutes following them the wolves started getting aggressive again. They started jogging. The Weech gave a shout as he seen a group of people in the distance. That was what the wolves were going for. Brail told Weech to stay back, and they started walking slowly towards the group as the wolves attacked. Then all of a sudden, a wall of thorns appeared out of nowhere! The wolves kept running, and, due to their momentum, hit the wall. They regrouped and tried again. Brail turned to Weech: 'I think that we should help those people out. Maybe we could milk some gold out of them. Lets go. I'll go around the back, you charge at them. Hurry, one has already broken through.' Brail went around the back and gave Weech the signal. Together, they charged. A wolf turned at the sound of them. It looked like the leader, as it was biggest. It charged at Weech and took him down, but it didn't go for the kill. Brail went for that one first... OOC: Sorry if you wanted to do that fight yourself. I don't intend to join the group, but I will if you want. I don't mind. -------------------- I'll put a Spring in your step. Polaris Posts: 2396 | Registered: Saturday, January 29 2005 08:00 |

Novercaphobia- Fear of your step-mother. Hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia- Fear of long words. Levophobia- Fear of things to the left side of the body. Leukophobia- Fear of the color white. Urophobia- Fear of urine or urinating. Phallophobia- Fear of a penis, esp erect. (had to put that one in) ^Some silly ones. I don't really have a phobia, but that does not mean I'm not scared of anything. I guess the closest I would get to one on the list would be Achluophobia- Fear of darkness. I don't really like being alone in the dark. -------------------- Mugglenet--The ULTIMATE Harry Potter Site. Polaris-- New location. Posts: 2396 | Registered: Saturday, January 29 2005 08:00 |

Gornak - no, Troglodytes are not as intelligent as humans. They are illiterate to some extent, and they can hardly talk properly. I personally think that cloning humans is wrong. We are born to live once, and no more. Sure, some people believe in reincarnation, the afterlife and all that, but I think that we just need to live ours lives. I agree with Marlenny, if we lived forever, we could just say, 'screw this, I'll do it later. I have forever.' You would also have to live through everyone you know experiencing their lives, and then passing on. Its a terrible idea. -------------------- I'll put a Spring in your step. OOC: I actually thought that 'one per day' meant one per real day, our time. IC: Brail (and now accompanied by Weech), walked up to the well. It must of been Brails failing sight that lead him to believe that there was a group of people around there, he now knew that there were simply two dead bodies. Him and Weech walked to the tavern, and bumped into a couple of people who were walking out. They were saying something about a mountain and some shadows. Brail decided, upon eavesdropping on them for a while, to make a queat of his own, based on his information. He quickly left with Weech, making sure the group don't see him. Him and Weech were trained spies and assasians, with excellent skills in melee. They were great fighters, but Brail was going blind. He pondered on this as they walked. I hope that my eyesight does not get any worse than it already is. It will not be a good thing when we are at the mountain. But his thoughts had distracted him from where he was, and when he took his bearings, he realised that they had travlled about 10 leagues that day. Weech had cooked the food and everything, so when Brail had ate, he rested. Only to be woken in the morning to a pack of wolves... -------------------- I'll put a Spring in your step. It would be bad to actually have barcodes for everyone. Why, back in my day, we used to just have a good old name. EDIT: I don't think that word is appropriate. OOC: FF, I was going to be Lord Karrases, but it seems that Brail would have more action. IC: Brail, and his assistant Weech, walked around the perimeter of their part of the mountain for a couple of days, without any luck. A few messengers came past telling them about undead in nearby towns, but they did not investigate. They seen a lone man jourenying up the mountain one day. They stumbled onto his body the next. Brail was getting restless. After many reports to Karrases about nothing, he was starting to get angry. Then one day, he decided to leave and go to a town for a drink and possibly some women. Weech protested, but Brail ignored him. He started off. After a while, he encountered a couple of wolves and slew them. Eventually, he noticed signs that there were people nearby: less trees, less animals, and after about five minutes he reached a town and saw that they were all gathered near a well for some reason. He walked over. OOC: A lot of posts since my last one, I see. I might have another one in a couple of hours. EDIT: Thanks, Aran. What Ash said in his first post. I am not a supporter of Bush, or anyone he has convinced to go to war with. Sure, the capture of Saddam Hussein was good, but there is still no need to still be in Iraq. Let them make their own country and stop playing God, Bush. -------------------- I'll put a Spring in your step. Polaris Posts: 2396 | Registered: Saturday, January 29 2005 08:00 |

OOC: Don't worry, Marvin. Just have a different charecter. IC: 'What have your spies reported to you?' Lord Karrases, ruler of Aram, inquired of his assistant. 'They have informed me that your brother The Grand Lord has hired some underlings to answer him about the rumours of Órloki. No doubt we will have to pre-empt this attempt to gain an advantage.' 'Thank-you, Brail. I will contact you later with more instructions. Dismissed.' Brail stummbled out of the room. OOC: More to come soon. UM...because you thought that they were going to kill you? The scariest thing that has happened to me would either be my grandad having bowel cancer, or my friend having cancer now. It would be out of them two. Actually, it would be one thing I found out today that is not really scary, but really sad - my friends brother commiting suicide. -------------------- I'll put a Spring in your step.
