Camley, I like that, it reminds me of a baby camel.

Writing a scenario is a virtual book, and there are limited restriction on it.

Topics over a week old are typically considered closed. It is best to start a new topic rather than adding to an old one.

The literal concept of a bank in a scenario would not be possible. HLPM is a scenario so when you leave, it like all others resets. Using the character editor is the bank. No need to worry about money when you can get 30000 in two clicks. That and money is pretty easy to come by most of the time.

Thank you Kelandon, specobj was what I was lookiing for.

As for the custom graphics, I'm on Mac. A very new one at that. I don't have graphics software at the moment. The closest things I have to it would be "Appleworks", and the program they open in "Preview". Not really worth mentioning.
The old computer is running system 9.1 that computer has photoshop on it, but most things on that computer wont even run in classic on mine.

Edit: turns out the new photoshop will be coming sooner or later, kind of sounds like I'll have to wait.

Fist off sorry, I know I ask a lot of questions.

1. How do I make it so when you search a bookshelf a message will pop up?

2. How do use custom graphics? I found some, but how do I get them into the editor?

I have sold things to the spider while I had 30000 coins several times. Being that you are not able to carry any more money he would buy my things and the coins amount would remain the same (as it is suppose to). I've never heard of that causing problems.

I have Mac OS 10.3.7 G4 - the only problems of that kind i've had was with Avernum one running in classic. The game would freeze for about three seconds every now and than. I couldn't do anything, and if I did press any keys the actions I told it to do would happen all at one as soon as it came back to life. It was a slight annoyance at times, but it never stayed that way and fixed itself pretty fast.

Okay, I'm going to stop talking about this because it is starting to be taken out of context. That and it's getting boring.

Mermaids

------------------------------------------------
"Irish say that they are old pagan women transformed to mermaid shape and banished by St. Patrick. Folktales say that mermaids are the Pharoh's children drowned in the Red Sea. Babylonians worshiped Oannes or Ea (sea gods). These sea gods were depicted in ancient art as men with a fish tail as legs."

In the past couple days there have been many posts such as "look I posted", and "tell us a joke" and other similar spam.

I may be to new to complain about newbies, but some of this stuff is just a little annoying.

If I'm not mistaken the PC version should come out around June. Earlier topics have mentioned this on the Geneforge board.

It's kind of funny, maybe it's just me...

It seems to be more embarrassing to be the only one clothed than to be the only one naked. Obviously certain locations and groups of people would change that statement. Consider it a group of friends of something like that.

Edit: forgot to mention, it would be very shallow for anyone male or female to say someone should cover their body simply for being what they see as "unattractive" or overweight. If it's all nature and no lust it shouldn't matter.

For words larger than sex or seven letter it can get kind of difficult.

Edit: Oops I don't remember writing the "for" or sex. lol sorry, I'll leave it because it's to amusing to erase .
