how do you turn off (disable) cheats? in Geneforge Series

What do you mean by "turn off cheats"? Do you want to not be able to use cheat codes, or do you want to undo the cheats you have already used? I don't see why you would want to do the former, as you could just not use the cheats.

There is no way to undo cheats you have already done. If you typed iwanttobestronger there is no way to take away the experience you gained, and you would need to load a save file to undo those cheats.

Replacing a trainer with the original script would make it so you couldn't cheat any further, but obviously would not undo what has already been done.

Me:
Hello, God, can I ask a couple questions?
God:
Hello there. I am a Christian.
Me:
What about Catholics?
God:
Catholics? I haven't heard enough about it to have an opinion.
Me:
You don't recognize the Catholics?
God:
Should I recognize the Catholics? I can recognize many kinds of patterns.
Me:
Do you recognize the Christians?
God:
I can recognize many kinds of patterns.
Me:
What is a pattern?
God:

The pattern is the "stimulus" or "input" part of the category.

The pattern is an expression in a formal language that consists of
(1) Words of natural language in UPPER CASE.
(2) The symbol * which matches any sequence of one or more words.
(3) The symbol _ which is the same as * except that it comes
after Z in lexicographic order.
(4) The markup <name/> which is replaced at robot load time
with the name of the robot.

Note there is a difference between the patterns HELLO and HELLO *.
HELLO matches only identical one-word sentences ("Hello.")
and HELLO * matches any sentence of two or more words starting
with "Hello" ("Hello how are you?").

Me:
Ah, then there is a logical pattern to your responses.
God:
So you understand. Good. That is something I did not know before.

The Louvre has some GF graphics.

Edit: The GF graphics would likely be color variations, and some BoA graphics might work.

No consequences from other people or no consequences at all (physiological, spiritual….)? If only the former; doing nothing sounds great, and if only the latter, hmm, I guess I would eat a ton of chocolate and ice cream.

Shift-click splits up stacks of items on a Mac as well.

It seems that only when selling to merchants do you get the option to sell X of any item, but I don't want to have to keep wasting gold to buy items back from the merchants I just sold them to!
Once items are sold to shops are permanently gone. Sometimes the shopkeeper happens to be selling the item you sold, but if you sell something rare or valuable it will be lost.

All of the choices for characters and colors are available in the demo; there won't be any new one's in the full version.

Indeed, education is the process of gaining knowledge through teaching and learning, so to instantly gain knowledge and/or wisdom is different from being educated. "Universal education for all" suggests that the whole world would be provided with schooling rather than instant results.

Maybe its just me, but everytime I got to some blockade, emipre or not, they just stood still and didn't come after me.

Even if you approached it? They should at least ask if you have the proper empire pass.

Ha ha! Now you don't get any wishes, because it doesn't grant wishes to the wearer.

Since Zeviz said that the wishes would be granted to him rather than the wearer he would be granted the wishes because he is himself, despite that fact that he is also the wearer. That would just grant the wishes to himself instead of himself; he would still get the wishes.

Edit: Also, wish number two implies he is able to alter the watch if need be.

I prefer death to eternal sleep, but I have my beliefs in the thereafter. These people must know what sleeping is, as they dream every night. Perhaps they feel their loved ones remain in a dream realm for all eternity.

In sleep the body is warm and soft, and there is still a pulse and breath; thus the illusion of life. Now, assuming they have no spirituality/religion/faith/thereafter outside of sleep it may very well be upsetting to learn one's loved one no longer exists. Perhaps they created the eternal sleep to protect their loved ones from death. Surely people have died suddenly or accidentally here or there, so they must have seen a dead human before.

Surely these people have some concept of death, or have the never eaten meat, kept a pet or farm animal, or picked a flower? The difference between eternal sleep and death is the illusion that the person is still alive.

I can't really comment on the morality of cults, as one could argue that every organized religion is in a sense a cult. In your example they made the whole thing up, but at the same time men wrote the bible rather than God's hand.

A) Perhaps, and if such is the case then all is well with their customs and there would have been no harm in telling them in the first place (or now).

B) They don't know killing as their custom. They think the people are being sedated and sent away.

C) Rebellion is always possibility when a community feels betrayed by their leader. What would you say if you were told that your grandfather was being sedated for safe travel only do discover he has been murdered?

By that logic you are saying that a supreme ruler(s) should never be questioned, even if they abandon the beliefs that made the people enthrone them in the first place. Shouldn't they at least be made aware of what is happening?

Treat other societies with respect, not condemnation.
Ancient Rome was rife with behaviors that today we consider to be immoral or amoral, yet it was the accepted norm of the time and place. It tends to be the citizens in a society that call "time out" when morals begin to move, and if I was one of the 190 individuals that submit to the 10 authority figures, I might have some questions. But given my answers in the $1 thread, I would likely leave well enough alone. Death is part of life, and we all get to experience it some day.

I have no moral objections to other cultures' standards. If killing is their way of handling all crimes that doesn't bother me, but why are the ten in charge lying to the ones doing the killing and the community?

The people did organize their society and government, but they all seem to think that said criminals are being sedated and sent away. The scenario implied a corrupt government rather than the ideals the society lives by; that was my reasoning.

Frozen Feet, what about the families and friends of all the people that would die? Obviously someone will find them and will mourn the loss.

Sure, the world would be richer (assuming the money is donated and distributed), but what if by chance the random people turn out to be everyone you know (it is possible)?

Does this person deserve a punishment more than watching people dying, sometimes for no reason? If they do, what is acceptable punishment?
If said person does nothing he is just as guilty as the ten, as he is an accessory to murder. Confronting the ten would be foolish, as it would likely result in death. I would say he should tell the trained killers so as to prevent future deaths. You said they are in a remote area, so the authorities may be out of reach. The rest of the community should be told what is happening, so they can decide what should be done.

I have had a couple dreams about this forum, but that is probably because it is very often the last thing I read at night. In the dreams I would usually be reading and replying to threads, and once I was talking to everyone in a big room. I gave someone a hug one time, but I don't remember who he was.
