You can't change your screen resolution to like 800x600 or 640x480. That would help a bunch. You may have to tinker with the program compatibility options. -------------------- -ben4808 Posts: 3360 | Registered: Friday, June 25 2004 07:00 |

Shoot, TM, you should leave us with something useful to talk about every time you revive this topic. It would do leaps and bounds to speed up the push toward 1000. ;) [ Sunday, June 12, 2005 13:56: Message edited by: BF7 ] -------------------- -ben4808 For those who love to spam: CSM Forums RIFQ Posts: 3360 | Registered: Friday, June 25 2004 07:00 |

Montana, southwestern. Plenty of mountains and rivers, but not very much rain. Well, actually lately we've been having a darn lot of rain, but usually no. -------------------- -ben4808 For those who love to spam: CSM Forums RIFQ Posts: 3360 | Registered: Friday, June 25 2004 07:00 |

Yeah, er, I'd make sure that all the proper directories are even there. For example, if a program was programmed to save a file in temp\save and there is no such directory, it's going to cause an error. But if you reinstalled the game and it still doesn't work, you may have ... I don't know ... some kind of virus or a missing system file?  Any error messages, or does it just crash? -------------------- -ben4808 Posts: 3360 | Registered: Friday, June 25 2004 07:00 |

Alorael can send a sudden discharge of static electricity towards your IP, which, of course, is inside your 20-inch thick cubicle because you're still posting here. Then you'd be fried. But I guess either way, you're still under siege here, cut off from the rest of the world except through your computer. Hope the rest of your life is fun. -------------------- -ben4808 For those who love to spam: CSM Forums RIFQ Posts: 3360 | Registered: Friday, June 25 2004 07:00 |

Most people register because they really want a game. And if you really want a game, you will be willing to pay for, no matter if you can get Halo for the same price or not. The enjoyment factor in most cases is similar. -------------------- -ben4808 Posts: 3360 | Registered: Friday, June 25 2004 07:00 |

Yeah. The whole combat engine is based on one swing per character. Without some complex concoction, you can't really do that. -------------------- -ben4808 Posts: 3360 | Registered: Friday, June 25 2004 07:00 |

quote:Google is the best search engine made. A "googol" is a term for the number 10 raised to the 100th power. Just though I'd point that out. ;) My point, though, was there is more than enough ways to store any and all the data humans could hope to create at the present point. Well, meaningful data, anyway. -------------------- -ben4808 For those who love to spam: CSM Forums RIFQ Posts: 3360 | Registered: Friday, June 25 2004 07:00 |

No, no, here's what happened: That kid just got out of the shower in the locker room, put his clothes on, and went out. But then he remembered that he forgot his gym shoes on the bench. So he rushes back down, not realizing that the sign on the locker room he's entering has the sign "Girls" on it. This is the moment in which he realizes his mistake via noticing a hot chick who has not yet finished showering. Any other good inferences? -------------------- -ben4808 For those who love to spam: CSM Forums RIFQ Posts: 3360 | Registered: Friday, June 25 2004 07:00 |

I just tried signing up, okay? So I typed in username, E-mail, password... oops, I get an error saying "Invalid username and password combination." So, it still created my account, you can see it on the main page, but I still can't get in. *sigh* I need some help from the Drakey of JadeWolf's forum, who has magically accumulated...500 posts? vuch :P eh/ay-low-ray-ell. Everyone needs to pronounce it exactly like that. Someone needs to come up with a weird pronounciation for their name and insist it be pronounced like the say. Like, Smoked Salmon could be: smo-kudd sal-mun [ Friday, June 10, 2005 15:52: Message edited by: BF7 ] -------------------- -ben4808 For those who love to spam: CSM Forums RIFQ Posts: 3360 | Registered: Friday, June 25 2004 07:00 |

I did wonder what his title meant, though, at an rate. EDIT: Oof, yikes, missed a page. quote:Sure you can. You can make one that's infinitely writable but does not have infinite storage. It simply overwrites what was on that particualar spot on the tape beforehand with the new data, while another device on the other side of the wheels reads the data as it comes around and writes them on more sohisticated SATA RAID 0 hard drives that can store pretty much anything you want. Ah, that brings us back to great days of topics ruled by Rosycat and TGM. That was fun. Somebody please unban TGM. Alorael is almost as addicted to these boards than skribbane itself. His post count is an "unfortunate" consequence. Since he's much older than us, he actually has all the time in the world to post, however, or so it seems. I fail to believe that a pop can have 0 calories. What is it? Flavored carbonated water? Oh yeah. :P -------------------- -ben4808 For those who love to spam: CSM Forums RIFQ Posts: 3360 | Registered: Friday, June 25 2004 07:00 |

A member a while back, Rowen or something, actually got canned for posting similar things as MM ie. "Yay, 100th post in the topic!" on two different occasions very close together. I would discouage such posts without something *cough*useful*cough*well*cough*how about*cough*else. Oh, and my back on topic thing was to attempt to discourage further discussion about sex partners. ;) [ Friday, June 10, 2005 14:55: Message edited by: BF7 ] -------------------- -ben4808 For those who love to spam: CSM Forums RIFQ Posts: 3360 | Registered: Friday, June 25 2004 07:00 |
