OK, In some scenerio im making, i want to include some 2handed double bladed weapons. Problem is, its rather hard to do. I could make it 2 1handed weapons, but then theres always the problem of using 1 end and another weapon. I could give it a speed boost, but it gets messy with web/haste, and the speed can be used for other things. I could make it a flaming weapon, but then theres the fire res and armor problem. Im rather stuck and im not sure what i should do. I would appreciate any ideas. -------------------- Learn from others mistakes. Its safer and more entertaining than learning on your own. My suggestion is to probably not mess with two hits at once. A warrior probably wouldn't have time to hit the enemy with both sides of his blade anyway. Just make a custom graphic of a double bladed sword, and make it 2 handed. Just my suggestion. -------------------- "Let us see what the new day brings." - Temas, Areni. Visit my realm! Yeah. The whole combat engine is based on one swing per character. Without some complex concoction, you can't really do that. -------------------- -ben4808 Posts: 3360 | Registered: Friday, June 25 2004 07:00 |

Umm, ok, but i would rather have a weapon that hits twice, as if not, well then, everyone would just use a halbierd or whatever. In short, i would REALLY like to find a good way to give it 2 attacks. -------------------- Learn from others mistakes. Its safer and more entertaining than learning on your own. Hmmm, can you have weapons that always haste the carrier? I forget. If so, though, that's about all I can think of that would "work." -------------------- -ben4808 Posts: 3360 | Registered: Friday, June 25 2004 07:00 |

I would really like to win the lottery. It won't happen. Concentrate on getting your scenario finished. It's been 3 days since you first asked -- if you seriously intend to make a finished work, you can't afford to waste 3 days on something so trivial. -------------------- The Empire Always Loses: This Time For Sure! You can add a flaming attack or something like that that hits twice - just pretend that one side of the sword is enchanted with fire or something. -------------------- "At times discretion should be thrown aside, and with the foolish we should play the fool." - Menander ==== Drakefyre's Demesne - Happy Happy Joy Joy Encyclopedia Ermariana - Trapped in the Closet ==== You can take my Mac when you pry my cold, dead fingers off the mouse! He already thought of Flaming Weapon on his own. The main problem with Flaming Weapon is that it's unreliable; it does fire damage on some people's computers and unblockable damage on other people's. -------------------- The Empire Always Loses: This Time For Sure! Well if you started out with a premade party, and controlled all the training in the scenario, you could have a counter check every few turns if the item is equipped. If it is, set assassination skill to 20. When it isn't equiped set assassination back to zero. -------------------- Lt. That'll only work with a premade 1-PC party, of course; there's no way to check which PC has the item equipped. -------------------- The Empire Always Loses: This Time For Sure! Posts: 9973 | Registered: Saturday, March 30 2002 08:00 |

I would have to say go with one attack suggestion. It's been so long since I've played BoE that I don't even remember what sort of enchantments there are, but if it's possible you could do multiple elemental damages, you could simply do the fire thing and a different element. One for either side I guess. Like I said though, I'm just a tad bit rusty. I'm not even sure you can do that. -------------------- Sometimes silence speaks volumes.
