Yeah, the media is getting bad about these things. Like that Natalie girl in Aruba. Who really cares? Terry Schaivo. Why such a big deal? Michael Jackson trial. Only covers because of his fame. But anything that can generate even a mote of public appeal is on the media. I remember getting to 1000. About a month and a half ago - you people remember the topic. It's really quite a joyous occasion. I think probably the though of posting 1000 times actually motivates some newbies to stay here. By now it's not quite as much as an accomplishment, though - I think about 35 members have done it - but it brings out a big sense of accomplishment. It seemed like it took forever for me to hit 1000. Absolutely forever. Then I finally did, uh, I think it was yesterday. Now I'm almost halfway to 2000. Heh, I kind of wish I was here for the start of the boards. That would've been fun. Number 3. Yay! Two months ago I had 117, last month 141, and now 337 :eek: . I certainly picked up my posting, but I still post too much. I just can resist the temptation to press the Add Reply button. I've heard that if it was not a unanimous agreement of guilty ie. just one juror found him innocent, then he was innocent, by the principle of innocent until proven guilty. Now I agree that you shouldn't just assume Jackson was guilty. Maybe he was not. But he's molested children before, and there were 10 counts against him. That's pretty good evidence really. But the jurors found him innocent, so either they had a good reason for that or a bad reason. That's all I'll say there. Personally, I think he was guilty, and I think that's what the poll should have said - Guilty or Not Guilty: poeple voting accordingly to what they think. But Michael Jackson walks free, and I'll bet that he'll be apt to change his perverse ways after a trial which had so much publicity. What I want to know is how you come up with all those monikers. I would peter out after a while. Maybe you should just start to number your monikers ie. whatever number this is, like 170 or whatever. Next moniker is "171," and so on, now that would really annoy Drakey. TGM is (was :( ) my favorite. He should have known better than to get himself banned. Alorael too. Everybody likes Alorael. But since we're listing out more that two: Spring, Dolphin, Aran, GIFTS (not posting, but I like him because he was the only one agreeing with me on the politics topic just before the elections), Thuryl, Stareye, Drakey, Bard of the Soul (posted a few times on BoE, not very visible but I liked him), Kelandon, Imban (but that would be voting for yourself ;) ), and Demonslayer.
