About this praying in public, and the verse in Matthew, it's not good to pray in public just so you can be noticed by everyone else as "more righteous". That's self-worship. So Bush shouldn't pray, like, during his speech in from of the whole nation, but there's nothing against him praying a little before his speech or in the White House because it's a government building. Though one could argue he has a right to pray even during speeches, but then again, that can get annoying for non-Christians.

It's pretty much the same thing, and I've heard it both ways. Generally, "saying grace" is more of a formal term.

This forum is both Misc. and RWG. While it is Misc., as it is now, spam is allowed quite a bit, but while we're talking about RWG again, which won't happed, not so much.

Saying that Bush is not allowed to follow his religion is a violation of the First Amendment. Even if it is at a public function. Sure, he's going to do a little acting upon his faith, but you must remember that he was elected into office by a majority. Kerry, who probably was not as religious as Bush, was given equal opportunity to be elected.

He's the man we have, and those of you that don't like can look forward to 2008. :P

WMDs were the reason we went into Iraq, and the reason we went into Afghanistan was because we were attacked by Bin Laden. Like I have said before, even though we did find no WMDs in Iraq, we saw the need to remove Saddam Hussein, whose activities you couldn't really count on to be safe. That and it ended the oppressive tyranny, and now we're helping to rebuild Iraq and get them going on the right foot.

Practically always. Well, usually not me, but my dad, and the prayer is always the same. But it's still a prayer and says what it needs to say. Basically, we're not supposed to start stuffing the food into our mouth until we pray over it, but it's not a strict life-or-death rule.
