You're trying to tell me that, once, serious structured conversations about Richard White's games actually occoured here?

Yes, though you might be hard-pressed dredging up the remains.

I do wonder why they keep this place open.

RWG is stopped.

I'm surprised that this topic thread isn't locked. I see so many locked topics in a row around here, almost 7 to 8, most of them talking about SPAM itself or something about Bork and being locked out by Alorael or Drakey.

I wonder on when was the last time that this board was seriously used to talk about any RWG. I personally have never tried any of them, but they're really that awful?

I tried to talk about Lost Souls once. I think we sort of did momentarily.

There have been occasional discussions of RWs games. Icshi cheerleads lukewarmly for Galactic Core, though almost everyone else despises it. Several people think Lost Souls was almost good enough to register. Ocean Bound is universally dismissed. Frequently people heap abuse on Homeland: the Stone of Night, even though it is not by Richard White.

But this forum, and it's earlier incarnation, have an ambivalently glorious tradition of hosting all kinds of bizarre discussions. A few are serious, and most are enjoyed by the participants. Not all are locked. Sadly, it is not uncommon for some newcomer to somehow miss the acceptable note of restrained weirdness, and launch an uninterestingly pointless thread like this one. These give RWG a bad name.

This is clearly a violation of the CoC as it is disguised German swear words.

And yes, my physical body is in its late thirties, although my brain is still young(er). Not so strange to be a homeow(n)er.

I hope Icshi isn't off experimenting with thread locker, although I can't imagine how he could get into serious trouble with it.

I asked my mad scientist friend, Professor Thadeus G. Stanislaw Koenigsburg IX, about thread locker, and he seemed as confused by it as I. So at the moment we're in his laboratory meticulously verifying whether each warning on the back is legitimate or not. So far we've come up trumps. We only hope enough of the lab is left by the time we finish the experiment that he can finish research on his new virus-cloning shake-n-bake canisters. (I understand that his aerosol ebola-in-a-can is coming along nicely.)

This is Misc. in disguise. And it is being allowed to be Misc. Which is good. I think it may have all started with my second post in the RWG topic when it was only about 100 posts. :P

You can pretty much sum up the glory and the horror that is the RWG forum by observing that Icshi is its spirit and soul.

Warning!!!

Ebola is a corkscrew virus. As such, it should be kept separate from thread locker compounds. The results of mixing the two could be disastrous.

And, I plan on staying young for at least forty more years. :P

Thanks for the heads-up. We'll be sure to test the canned plague somewhere safe.
