Why thank you. :) It's not going to be too long.

But wow. Talk of 20,000 posts already. That's a lot.

Would Exile make a SWEET movie? in The Exile Trilogy

We've talked about this before, and to be made a movie, it would either have to be a normal-sized (1-2hr) movie that leaves out a lot of important things or a huge epic that takes three days to watch. That and someone would need to come up with a chunk of money for it. And Jeff would need to get a notion, which is a pretty insurmountable barrier right there.

But it could make a good movie.

Almost two hours, actually. But still, this being a Spiderweb forum, I'd imagine not everyone has something to say about this Love Hina.

Alorael obviously gets it somewhere.

Anyway, the race to 10,000 isn't that interesting in that the winner is pretty obvious, Drakey's only chance is to put on a mad spam spree, which I think he is capable of, but it would set a bad example for some newbies, him being the admin and all.

And then you never know when Mariann will finally decide to change forum software, if ever.

Yeah, what I meant was pretty much what Alo said. The BoE editor is free, but it's pretty impractical to construct a bug-free scenario unless you're one of those people that never make mistakes.

On these topics. Our three best ones were locked, and this board need to hit at least 100 posts per day to keep RW's programming mood alive until GC2 is completed.

Crashing a motorbike on the beach is fine because you barely ever get hurt. I've never been hurt in any way that doesn't allow me to get back up and carry on driving.
Oh. Sounds like great fun, though. :)

About my idea of cloning the "perfect person", I agree with Thuryl that there is such a thing. But there at least should be a way to remove any genes specifically known to cause certain diseases or "defects".

Mostly that they're not just one line and that the scrounging it takes to add a sig onto an otherwise one-line post makes it less spammy.

You know...Jesus could speak English.

He could, but there is really no account of him speaking anything other than Hebrew while on Earth.

He could come to my dinner table though, along with TM (these other two may be able to enlighten him somewhat), Bush, and, hmmm. Who else wants to? ;)

1000 posts is becoming more and more just a milestone and not a inductance into the "Spiderweb Greats" as it was some time ago. Just think, if we ever switch forums, what will the race to 1000 be like then? :P

Well, no, he's more of a representative. A figurehead, too, but not near as much as, say, Queen Elizabeth. No offense meant to any British members, of course.

That, and I agree that papercuts are kind of gruesome. So deep, yet pretty much invisible.

You'd think they could manipulate the DNA to give cloned people "perfect genes." Eventually anyway. But it doesn't sound that appealing.
